Christmas Cottage at Aldeburgh

Step inside this gorgeously refurbished holiday cottage and escape the world in your own seaside retreat. You enter into the property into a spacious hallway, with two bedrooms, shower room and en-suite in front of you and to your right. To your left, you enter into the large kitchen/diner, with the sitting room off the dining room and utility room off of the kitchen.

Kitchen Dining Room
The kitchen window offers views over the rear garden. There is a range of wall and base units, with granite effect work surfaces incorporating 1.5 bowl sink unit with mixer taps and tiled splashbacks. There is an AEG double oven and dishwasher, perfect for making those family meals that little bit easier, there is also a built in fridge freezer. This kitchen boasts a gorgeous island unit with further storage space.

The dining area is a dual aspect room with views over the front and rear gardens, there will be a large table with chairs perfect for sophisticated dinners, leisurely lunches and jolly family meal. There is wood effect flooring throughout both parts of this room.

Utility Room
There is a range of wall and base units, incorporating a butler sink. The utility room features a Hotpoint washing machine and Bosch tumble dryer. Door opening into rear garden.

Sitting Room
Dual aspect room with views over both the front and rear garden areas, this room has a fireplace, perfect for the winter months. The room has wood effect flooring throughout and there will be ample seating for the accommodation size. Why not bring the outside inside with the double doors opening in the garden, the room is both cosy in the winter and light and airy in the summer months.

Bedroom One
This spacious master bedroom has a window offering views of the front garden. There is a luxurious super-king bed with side tables and lamps. For all of your belongings you have a large walk-in wardrobe with shelving and clothes rail.

En-suite to Bedroom One
With views of the rear garden this room features a panel bath with overhead shower. W.C, pedestal wash basin with mixer taps. This room displays an Illuminated mirror and heated towel rail.

Bedroom Four
Looking out across the rear garden, this room incorporates a full-sized single bed with truckle bed.

With a corner shower cubical, W.C, pedestal wash basin and heated towel rail.

First Floor
Bedroom Two
This front facing room has a sumptuous king-size bed, bedside tables, and lamps. There will be storage space added.

Bedroom Three
A dual aspect room overlooking both the front and back garden. There are full sized win beds, with side tables and lamps, with a range of storage cupboards.

Family Bathroom
This spacious family bathroom features a panel bath with shower head attachment, W.C, pedestal wash basin and mixer taps. This room has had an illuminated mirror and heated towel rail installed.

Outside
Christmas cottage is approached over a private gravel drive, providing parking for 2 cars and leads to an attached carport. The south-facing front garden is mostly laid to lawn and features a delightful sun terrace located off the sitting room. There will be outdoor seating provided. The garden is enclosed by low brick walling and attractive flowers and shrubs, the property enjoys views over Kings park fields.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.


This lovely detached self-catering holiday home is equipped with central heating and appliances include a flat screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped with a AEG double oven, dishwasher and a microwave and hob currently being installed. In the utility room there is a Hotpoint washing machine and Bosch tumble dryer.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
This Suffolk holiday home is located in a secluded position on Park Road, just a short walk away from the high street in the picturesque town of Aldeburgh, with it's excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes and range of independent shops, convenience stores, art galleries and huts along the beach, where local fisherman sell their wares.

The area is excellent for cycling, sailing or golf and there are many interesting walks and places to visit, including the nearby Aldeburgh Marshes, picture-postcard village of Thorpeness and world renowned Snape Maltings.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome downstairs (though not on the furniture please). If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
