Cherry Tree Cottage at Woodbridge

Cherry Tree Cottage is a beautiful Grade II listed semi-detached holiday cottage, located in the heart of Woodbridge, just a short walk from the vibrant thoroughfare and River Deben. The property is located next to the well known Cherry Tree pub where you can enjoy summer meals in the garden, or winter evenings by the fire. The property boasts a living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor, with the bedroom located on the first floor. Outside is a fantastic garden, and off road parking for one car.

Ground Floor
Entering from Cumberland Street, into the living/dining area, with kitchen and bathroom.

Living/Dining Room
This fantastic space with wooden flooring is very much the heart of the cottage. With beautiful original period features, including the beautiful wooden beams. There is a comfortable two seater sofa and two separate chairs for use with the dining table. One of the walls features gorgeous brick work, which houses the 32'' TV and DVD Player and wood-burning stove, perfect for those chilly evenings. There is also a Sonos Speaker ad DAB radios for your entertainment. There in an antique wooden dining table, which can be pulled out for dining.There is an array of fantastic decorative items filling the room with character and charm. The stairs are located behind a door, which lead up to the bedroom.

Kitchen
A newly renovated kitchen with wonderful art deco tiles, underfloor heating and stable door leading out onto the garden. This well equipped kitchen has everything you need to holiday in style, with an electric oven, with four ring gas hob and extractor fan above, slim-line dishwasher, Samsung washer/dryer, Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge with icebox freezer. There is a variety of unique crockery and glassware, allowing you to dine in style.

Bathroom
A bathroom of dreams, which has been created following an extensive renovation. With a gorgeous corner clawfoot bath, with over-head shower. The owners have sourced a truly fantastic statement sink with brass tap, there is also a WC and towel rail. This room is super cosy with a heated towel rail and underfloor heating.

First Floor
Traditional cottage stairs which are very steep lead up to the bedroom, these are located behind a stable door. There is a rope handrail to one side.

Bedroom
This generous sized bedroom with wooden flooring and views across the vast and lovely garden centre landscaping across the street, it is the perfect space to enjoy a quality night sleep after a long day of exploring. There is a double bed, a beautiful art nouveau antique feature fireplace, antique dressing table, with stool and statement mirror sits to the side, with some fascinating ornaments.

Within the property is a large variety of bookings available for the guests to enjoy during there stay.

Outside
The cottage has a very pleasant back garden beautifully planted with a deck and some comfy good quality deck chairs and table for lounging in the sun. The garden is south facing and sunny all afternoon. There is also a fire pit for a romantic evening fire and marshmallow roasting! Please note the garden contains an access pathway for the neighbours to take out their bins etc.


To the side of Cherry Tree Cottage is a private parking space for guest's exclusive use.

This semi-detached self-catering holiday accommodation is equipped with central heating and appliances include an oven, four ring gas hob with extractor fan above, fridge with icebox freezer, integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster. In the living room is a 32'' TV. There is a dog bed and bowls for your dog.

There is a travel cot and high chair for guests use.
Cherry Tree Cottage is positioned on Cumberland Street, just moments from the Thoroughfare filled with shops, cafes and fantastic pubs/restaurants.

Woodbridge has an excellent range of markets, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops as well as an independent cinema and the famous Tide Mill, a rare example of a tide mill whose water wheel still turns.

Guests can enjoy the bird life on the nearby mud flats with ‘Birds by Barge’ trips, with the anticipation of seeing an elusive avocet, provided on the River Deben by the RSPB between November and February. Woodbridge is also famous for those who enjoy sailing and is great for cycling and walking.

Woodbridge is conveniently located for exploring the Suffolk Coast and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The picturesque town of Aldeburgh is a short drive away, as is RSPB Minsmere, the fascinating historic burial ground of Sutton Hoo, the Bawdsey Peninsular and Quay with unspoilt small sandy beach.
A well-behaved dog is welcomed downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

The property is located on Cumberland Road, which is one of the main roads into Woodbridge, road noise can be heard at certain times.

Whilst the property has a parking space, it is most suited for cars up to an SUV size.

Please note the stairs are very steep, there is a rope hand rail to one side.

Please note when you step out of the rear door you are in a shared section, four paving slabs lead you into your own private garden.

This property has feather bedding.
