The accommodation is primarily on the ground floor with a light and airy living/dining room opening onto the garden, which gives a lovely indoor/outdoor living experience. The kitchen and wet room are off to the left and wooden stairs take you to the galleried bedroom in the eaves with view of the garden.
At the front of the cottage is a large sunny garden with shingle path leading from the private parking to the flagstone patio, furnished for dining or simply lounging on the massive corner sofa.

The picturesque coastal town of Aldeburgh with its long pebble beach has plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafes, take-aways, independent and high street shops to tempt you, as well as an independent cinema and Mint Fitness studio for those who like a bit of exercise or yoga!
Historians will enjoy a trip to the impressive market town of Framlingham (just seven minutes drive away) which is surrounded by pretty villages, and boasts an imposing 12th century Norman castle. You can make a day of your visit with lunch at The Crown Hotel or one of the many independent eateries; browsing around the independent shops which include an excellent butchers and delicatessen, or popping into the Co-Op to top up the groceries.
The larger town of Woodbridge (13 mins away) has a fascinating working tide mill, a good mix of shops, a Riverside Restaurant and cinema with plenty of other services. Snape Maltings offers concerts and events, independent shops, cafes, galleries and some stunning walks through marshland. Orford is another great place for walkers, sailors, cyclists, bird lovers, gastronomers and historians.
Two well-behaved small/medium dogs are welcome downstairs (though not on the furniture please). If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.
The garden is enclosed with hedge and picket fence (low so not good for jumping dogs!) and gate to the road at the front.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACS transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure you’re your stay. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
