“A second very comfortable stay at Barley’s Cottage. Lots of lovely walks towards Thorpeness and along the river and marshes. Great weather for the time of year – cold but bright. Great meal at the Lighthouse – as always. All in all a very enjoyable break in Aldeburgh and in a very comfortable and homely cottage. Thanks for our stay, I’m sure we will be back!”
“Lovely comfortable cottage to base ourselves for our 39th wedding anniversary, will recommend to friends and family”
“What can I say, the cottage is perfect, so comfortable to come home to after a day out or to step in, in front of the fire. Location is fab close to the shop, beach, pub and chip shop. We will definitely return”
“So wonderful, so short, lovely Aldeburgh and Barley’s Cottage. Such a nice arrival surprise with bottle of wine and nibbles. The cottage has everything we needed, and excellent instructions etc, wish we could stay longer. The town of course is wonderful, with great shops, restaurants, pubs and views up and down the coast. Worth a walk to Thorpeness for the Meare, some coffee and lunch. Hope we can return soon”
“Lovely stay as always. Very comfortable cottage, warm too! Can thoroughly recommend the Lighthose, will definitely come again”
