You'll know you're somewhere special as soon as you step into the main living area which is sure to be at the centre of your holiday. All four bedrooms are a generous size and will be furnished to an equally high standard so no guests will feel 'short changed'! The two on the ground floor are well suited to guests with a mobility issue, and the shower room sits off the inner hallway too, making it easily accessible for both rooms. On the first-floor you'll find the other two bedrooms, both with far-reaching views over the garden to the countryside beyond; the contemporary bathroom sits between the two.
There are few better places on the Suffolk coast to stay than the small fishing village of Orford, with excellent local food found in shops and eateries, complemented by a relaxed way of life and spot of history with the castle. The outdoor space 'at home' is also particularly well suited to families, with space and furniture for long lazy lunches and BBQs, as well as a lawn for kids and pets to run around in the fresh air. Parking's not a problem with space on the drive and the track which takes you from the main road to The Artist's House.

First Floor Twin Bedroom

There’s parking on the track at the front with a front garden running down to the larger rear garden, bordered by fields – simply perfect for relaxation and long lazy lunches. This semi-detached holiday house sits down a long private off-road track with a parking space on the drive for one car and ample on the track if needed.
There is a small garden to the front of this semi-detached Suffolk holiday house and generous sized garden to the rear, mostly enclosed by hedging with a garden shed (not in use). There will be outdoor furniture so you can make the most of the morning light with your cup of tea and breakfast, or the afternoon and evening sun.

Orford is a delightful coastal town, set in one of the best positions along the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The small town provides a peaceful idyll for nature lovers wanting to explore the Ness, beautiful coastline, an English Heritage 12th Century castle, Orford Ness (National Trust nature reserve) and an iconic lighthouse overlooking the River Ore. The town has become a real food destination with two fantastic family friendly pubs - The Kings Head and Jolly Sailor, award-winning restaurant - The Crown and Castle, Butley-Orford Oysterage and award-winning Pump Street Bakery.
River trips can be booked from Orford Quay, which sail down the River Ore up to Aldeburgh and then back down to see the famous avocets at the RSPB’s Havergate Island. The historic market town of Woodbridge, stands on the banks of the River Deben and offers a wide range of shopping facilities, pubs, restaurants, a cinema and swimming pool. The attractive village of Snape, which lies at the head of the River Alde and home to the world famous Snape Maltings is only six miles away. The Maltings has a concert hall and a variety of shops including Kitchen, home ware, delicatessen, clothing, antiques and furniture together with cafe's and public house.
A well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

The access to this property is down an unmade road. The owners recommend that care is exercised when driving down the road and that you drive at no more than 5mph. The road is an access road owned by the local farm.
