The Apartment at Clare House at Aldeburgh

"Through the courtyard garden on the seafront, you enter The Apartment into a large porch which has bedroom one with shower en-suite to the left and the large kitchen/dining/living room to the right with views of the beach and sea. Off the living area, you’ll find the large master bedroom and stunning en-suite bathroom with claw foot bath. There is laminate flooring throughout this ground floor apartment and very stylish lino in the bathrooms.

Kitchen/Dining/Living Room
The recently updated kitchen has a fitted single oven with grill and a four ring ceramic hob with extractor over, a slimline fitted dishwasher, free standing fridge and two shelf freezer at the top and a microwave. A table with two chairs and a window seat sit by the huge bay window overlooking the sea. There is a two seater sofa with two armchairs surrounding the electric fire which provides cosy comfort after an active day in the Suffolk sea air.

Master Bedroom
Through a door from the living area there is a small step down into the master bedroom with king size bed, massive fitted wardrobe with bags of shelves and hanging space, bedside tables and chest of drawers with a window overlooking a rear courtyard.

En-suite Bathroom
A door from the master bedroom leads into the attractive en-suite bathroom which has a feature claw foot bath and hand held shower, wash basin and WC. The large window offers lots of natural light and the floor is covered with a silver and grey mosaic effect lino. Deep shelves and a cupboard provide extra space for storing your toiletries.

Double Bedroom
Another good sized bedroom with an impressive bay window with window seat, overlooking the courtyard and sea; a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the view. The triple wardrobe with drawers under offers plenty of space. There is a double bed in this room and a door through to the en-suite shower room.

En-suite Shower Room
This newly fitted shower room has both a large overhead rain shower and also a handheld shower. There is a basin with vanity unit underneath, a heated towel rail and a WC. A door through this en-suite leads to the utility room.

Utility Room
From the en-suite shower room sits a useful utility room with restricted head height housing the washing machine and tumble dryer.

This wonderful ground floor, seafront apartment has a courtyard to the front offering stunning views of the sea and a super space for enjoying al fresco meals. There is unallocated but unrestricted parking outside the courtyard on Crag Path although this is on a first come first served basis.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This spacious self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and a electric fire; appliances include a TV with FreeSat, Wifi and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with a single oven, ceramic four ring hob with extractor, dishwasher and a freestanding large fridge with 2 shelf freezer and microwave. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room.

A travel cot and a high chair are available on request.

This ground floor self-catering Aldeburgh holiday let is located on the sea front in Aldeburgh, a pretty town on the Suffolk coast. The apartment is between the Cross Keys pub and Oakley Square and is centrally located for the town’s popular restaurants and shops.

A well-behaved dog is welcome. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking where you'll see that dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture. The owners have supplied a small comfortable bed which will be laundered between stays or you can obviously bring your own.

Sorry, no smoking or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property. This ground floor self-catering Aldeburgh holiday let with sea views may be suitable for people with some limited mobility but it is not wheel-chair accessible. Please note that during the summer school holidays Crag Path can be noisy in the evenings.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
