You are welcomed into a shared entrance hall with the apartment below, Kestrel. A door opens to a private entrance with stairs leading to the first floor hall. Directly ahead there is the master bedroom, family bathroom and a bunk room. Two further stairs lead to the sitting room which opens to the kitchen. Stairs from the hall lead to the second floor which has a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a shower room.

At the front of the property is unrestricted on-road parking.

Ground Floor: Shared with the ground floor apartment, Kestrel. This has a tiled floor with a door opening to a private entrance for Osprey with shoe and coat storage. Stairs lead to:

Hall: Two further steps lead up to the sitting room and a stair case leads to the first floor.

First Floor

Sitting room: Beautiful room with large sash bay window and window seat. There is a living flame gas fire with a large sofa and 2 armchairs, a dismantled drum kit to use as coffee tables and polished wood floors. There is a flat screen Toshiba TV with Netflix and a Philips HiFi with iPod/iPhone connectivity. An arch way opens to:

Kitchen: Contemporary kitchen units with granite work surfaces and integrated appliances including, Bosch Fridge/Freezer and washer, Smeg 4 ring gas hob/oven with overhead Hotpoint extractor hood and Neff Dishwasher. Against the wall there is a large table with benches either side and two chairs.

Bedroom 1: There is a super king bed which can be configured to be made up as a twin upon request. Side table and lamps either side and a fitted double wardrobe cupboard.

Family Bathroom: Roll top Victorian style bath, shower cubicle with overhead shower, W.C, wash basin standing on a marble surface and a heated towel rail.

Second Floor

Landing: There is a useful storage cupboard and wooden flooring.

Bedroom 2: There is a king size bed with side table and lamps either side, built in wardrobe cupboard, chest of drawers and wooden floor boards.

Bedroom 3: This room has twin beds with a dismantled drum kit as a side table and lamps. There is also a built in wardrobe cupboard, chest of drawers and wooden floor boards.

Bedroom 4: Bunk room with side lamp, available upon request.

Shower room: Walk in shower cubicle with overhead shower, W.C, pedestal wash basin and wooden floor boards.

Outside: At the front of the property is unrestricted on-road parking.

Whats Included?

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The property is equipped with gas central heating and includes a living flame gas fire, a flat screen TV with Netflix (access to a large library of free movies, award winning TV series and documentaries), HiFi system, Bosch fridge/freezer, washer, Smeg 4 ring gas hob/oven and Neff dishwasher. WIfi is available.

Experiences with their own two young boys in Southwold have led the owners to go to great lengths to ensure Osprey is very baby/child friendly. An extensive list of baby equipment can be made available on request at time of booking, allowing parents to pack light. The list includes: toys, books, crabbing lines & bucket, safety gates, travel cot, high chair, baby bath, steriliser, baby monitor, childrens' step, childrens' cutlery and crockery.

Property Floor Plan

This self catering holiday cottage in Southwold is located in a terrace of houses, a short walk from the town's popular shops, cafes and delis.

The sandy beach at Southwold is adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to Southwold Pier at one end and towards Southwold Harbour at the other end the town boasts several excellent pubs and restaurants as well as a range of independent shops and galleries.

There is a pretty walk through the harbour and over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fish huts along the harbour. Southwold is home to the Adnams Brewery and the town's excellent pubs include one of our personal favourites, The Lord Nelson where you can try a range of Adnams bitters.

A well-behaved dog can be accommodated on request at the time of booking, must be restricted to the ground floor and is subject to our terms and conditions.

Children are welcome.

Please note when guests are using the property and have a low occupancy discount applied please can the refrain from using the upstairs area.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
