What our guests say

“This is a stunning house - A high level of finish and detail in every aspect. There were three generations from London, Oxford and Bucks. My father lived in Reydon & Southwold has always been a special place for us. The weather was unbelievable and we took full advantage of ‘Windrush’ the beach hut.”

Heron House at Southwold

Southwold

“We have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heron House. The age range of the party spans from twin girls aged 8 months to granny and grandpa in their spritely seventies and the house accommodated all our many and various needs perfectly. We particularly loved the high-spec appliances and Cormac aged 4 enjoyed discovering the toys, games and the brilliant stash of fancy dress clothes in the window seat.”

“Another wonderful family week together in Heron House. The location really is just perfect and the proximity of the beach has been brilliant with the weather so sunny this week. Great to eat together round the lovely table and play games. We will be back.”

“We came back and everything as fabulous as before. Perfect long weekend in a perfect house in the perfect little part of the UK. Many thanks – planning for next time!”

“Heron House is ideal for a family celebration. We all thoroughly enjoyed the walks, the village and of course returning to a lovely house to play board games and chat.“
