An entrance hall gives access to a modern extension comprising a stylish master bedroom and chic bathroom with the original cottage adjacent. The cosy and comfortable living room has a wood burning stove and piano for the musician in the family; leading through to the smart kitchen with window allowing the light to stream in from the dining conservatory where you can make the most of the idyllic countryside location at any time of the year with door to the patio and heating to keep you warm in cooler months. Both tastefully decorated and furnished bedrooms on the first floor, with cloakroom between them, have views of the landscape with a large desk in the twin tempting guests to do some creative writing!

4 Wolsey Cottages is set back from a quiet road in a large garden surrounded by rolling countryside with bags of space for children to run around plus a cute playhouse and climbing frame to enjoy. There’s space for the adults to supervise from the south facing patio which is furnished and equipped with a BBQ for meals in the open. With off road parking for two cars, this idyllic rural location is close to traditional village shops and pubs, the historic market town of Framlingham and the picturesque Suffolk Coast with its seaside towns of Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh to explore.

Ground floor:
The door opens into a hall with access to the master bedroom, family bathroom and remainder of the cottage. Exposed floorboards with occasional rugs run through the whole of the ground floor.

Master Bedroom
Superbly decorated and furnished with a super king zip and link bed giving you the choice of twin or double configuration. There’s hanging space and drawers in a unit, small bedside units and views of the garden.

Beautifully fitted with L shaped bath with shower rose over and a hand shower, basin and WC. There’s also the convenience of a washer/dryer here.

Living Room
Cosy comfortable with leather sofa, desk, chair, shelves stacked with books and DVDs, a basket full of toys for little guests and beautiful upright piano for you to entertain you friends and family. Key features in this charming room are the wood burner set into the original brick fireplace and gothic arched double glazed window with views over rolling countryside.

Chic and spacious; units run along two walls with a window allowing the light to stream in from the dining conservatory plus an opening giving access to this room and doors to the stairs and living room. Appliances include an electric oven, grill, hob and extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, three drawer freezer and free standing microwave.

Dining Conservatory
A gorgeous room for socialising at any time of the year making the most of inside/outside living with the sun streaming in and the heating for cooler months. Simply furnished with a long refectory table with six Eames chairs and door opening to the patio.

First floor
A door opens from the kitchen onto carpeted stairs rising to the first floor landing where the double, twin and cloakroom are. The stairs are quite steep and narrow with a hand rail. The entire first floor has beautiful original floorboards with rugs for warm feet!

Twin Bedroom
Overlooking the front garden and fields, this stylish room has sturdy twin beds with lamps, hooks to hang finery, chest of drawers and a handsome desk under the window – the ideal spot for writers and painters to get inspiration from nature.

Double Bedroom
This lovely light south facing bedroom with views of the countryside has a king size bed with bedside cabinets, a wardrobe, chest of drawers.

Set back from a quiet road in an idyllic rural location, yet close to the Suffolk Coast, this end of terraced cottage has off road parking for a couple of cars with a path, flanked by lawn, leading to the front door. The main south facing garden at the back stretches to unspoilt rolling countryside, mostly laid to lawn interspersed with mature trees and shrubs a charming play house and climbing frame for kids to enjoy. A paved area surrounds the dining conservatory, furnished with table and chairs for entertaining or simply relaxing during the warmer months.

This modern end of terrace self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with oil central heating and appliances include a TV, Wifi and iPod docking station. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, grill, hob and extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, three drawer freezer and free standing microwave. There’s a BBQ and also a washer/dryer in the bathroom.

This is a super cottage for families with young children with the play house and climbing frame. A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

This charming self-catering Suffolk holiday cottage in Yoxford is within easy reach of the Suffolk Coast as well as being an ideal location from which to explore east Suffolk's villages and market towns or simply relax and enjoy long walks or bike rides from the front door.

Yoxford, a pretty village in the east of Suffolk, is conveniently close to the larger towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Beccles, making 4 Wolsey Cottages the ideal base for exploration of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The Kings Head, a charming English country pub serving good food and local beverages from 11am daily is in the heart of the village, a lovely 20 minute walk along a footpath through the fields (you may want to book a taxi home in the evenings). Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens being another great place to visit with wonderful array of quality furniture, ceramics, books, jewellery and collectables from a bygone age.

A well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking. Please note that the garden is not secure so dogs must be supervised.

Children must be supervised at all times on the play equipment. Typical of a period cottage, the stairs are quite steep and narrow so not ideal for guests with a mobility problem, however the ground floor bedroom and bathroom are ideal.
