The garden is divided into two areas with a patio at the front and a gravelled garden at the back with view of the iconic Lighthouse, furnished with a table, chairs and BBQ. There is no allocated parking for the cottage, however there are a couple of unrestricted places on a first come first served basis at the front.

There’s a step down to this room which has a sturdy wooden full-sized pull out bed for those needing twin occupancy. Two small windows overlook the garden and the iconic lighthouse. There are bedside drawers and a chair.
4 East Green has a patio area outside the double doors from the dining room, which leads through an arch to a gravelled area with a table and four chairs and a BBQ with splendid views of the lighthouse.
Please note that the gates here are only for putting the bins out as beyond the gates is a shared garden area with the neighbour.
There’s no allocated parking for the cottage, however there are a couple of spaces on East Green outside the cottage with unrestricted parking on a first-come basis.
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity.
This contemporary terraced self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating, plus a wood burner and appliances include a TV with FreeSat, DVD Player, iPod docking station, and CD player. The kitchen is well equipped with integrated fridge with freezer compartment, electric, gas hob with five rings, dishwasher and a free standing microwave.
A high chair and travel cot are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
4 East Green is literally round the corner from Southwold's lovely sandy beach, adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to the iconic Pier; the historic lighthouse; Sole Bay Inn and the home of Adnams Brewery, with a pleasant whiff of malt competing with the sea air.
The holiday cottage is a few minutes walk from Southwold high street which has a great choice of excellent restaurants and cafes, as well as a range of galleries and independent shops, including bakeries, delicatessens, butchers and convenience stores, plus many great pubs to choose from.
There is a pretty walk from the harbour over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fishermen’s huts along the harbour.
The area boasts a wide variety of attractions, amongst which are the renowned RSPB bird sanctuary Minsmere, many countryside and coastal walks.
A small and well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.
