You're welcomed into the hallway at the heart of the house giving access to the main L shaped living area ahead of you which is sure to be at the hub of your holiday, particularly in the summer months with doors to the garden. There's the added bonus of a larder and utility room off the kitchen. A study, cloakroom and comfortable drawing room all open off the hall and carpeted stairs rise to the first floor. Off the living area is, effectively, a suite with small hall leading to the 'day' room (with bed which can be made up for you as a single) and double doors to the garden room; a wet room and big bedroom. Two bedrooms with king size beds sit at the front of the house, one with en-suite shower room, whilst the twin and bunk rooms are at the back with the family bathroom between them.

Not only is this detached holiday house in a great location for exploring all that the Suffolk Coast has to offer, it's also particularly good for children and dogs. thanks to the fully enclosed garden at the back. Roses, wisteria and chrysanthemums surround the south facing garden which is part lawn with paths and a patio where you can enjoy long leisurely lunches. Four cars can be parked on the gravel drive at the front with a path round to the front door and, conveniently, easy access into both the utility room at the side and the garden.

Ground Floor
The study, drawing room, ground floor bedroom and day room are carpeted with slate tiles through the hall and into the kitchen/dining area; wood in the living area. Double doors open from the living space and day room; there are also external doors from the utility room, living room and of course the front door.

Open Plan Living Space
Super sociable L shaped open plan kitchen/dining/living space. You enter into the kitchen area which has units along two walls and a wonderful Belling double oven with warmer, fan oven, separate grill and five rings; American style fridge/freezer; integrated dishwasher and microwave on a shelf. The central island gives great additional workspace and storage for crockery, with the added bonus of a walk in larder for groceries.

A handsome oak table takes pride of place in the dining area, flanked by five upholstered dining chairs and a bench giving seating for nine guests, with a couple of Directors chairs if needed.

The sunny seating area has double doors and second door to the garden – super in the summer months. A cane sofa, casual chairs and occasional tables are positioned for you to enjoy entertainment on the wall mounted TV.

Utility Room
Great additional storage if needed, with cupboards, shelves, a washing machine and direct access from the drive through to the kitchen.

Study
Ideal for guests needing to do a spot of work, simply furnished with an oak desk with chair and window at the front.

The pretty fully enclosed south-facing landscaped garden is a real sun-trap, ideal for simply relaxing and for children to run around the paths which section the lawn, surrounded by traditional English scented.

Four cars can be parked on the gravel drive at the side of this detached house, with a door to the utility room (great way to bring pets in) and path to the front door. There’s also a side gate to the garden so you can store bikes safely.

This detached self-catering holiday house is equipped with central heating and has a wood burner. There's Wifi and appliances include TVs in living area, drawing room and day room which have Sky Q so that you can different sky channels in different rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with a Belling double oven with warmer, fan oven, separate grill and five rings; American style fridge/freezer; integrated dishwasher and microwave on a shelf. There's also a washing machine in the utility room, a dryer in the garage and charcoal BBQ for summer use.

A travel cot, high chair and stair gate are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
Wrentham is a village in the Waveney district of north-east Suffolk, less than five miles from the picturesque and vibrant seaside town of Southwold with many eateries, an iconic pier and long stretch of sandy beach.

The hamlet of Covehithe is less than two miles away, boasting a peaceful stretch of sand backed by crumbling golden cliffs with smooth, blanched sculpture-like tree trunks - a beautiful place to walk or have a picnic. Benacre Broad is also close by; a brackish lagoon and conservation area.

The village itself has several shops and a couple of pubs, with the busy market town of Beccles, approximately six miles away, which has a good range of supermarkets, independent shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as a market selling fresh produce every Friday and a train station with links to London Liverpool Street via Ipswich.
Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome downstairs and more might be able to stay on request. If you wish to bring a dog/s they must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking. The house is particularly dog friendly as you can easily contain them in the main living area which has hard flooring; they can be brought directly into the utility room to be dried before shaking wet fur over the furniture, or can be left safely in the enclosed garden with direct access from the drive too.

This detached house is relatively well suited for wheelchairs. There’s a flagstone path from the drive to the front door with a small lip. There’s hard flooring through to the main kitchen/living space and double doors to the patio. The door to the ground floor bedroom is 2.06 wide, also into the bedroom which is carpeted.
