28 South Green and Harriet's Cottage at Southwold

The gorgeous little two bedroom cottage sits across the secluded courtyard. Interiors are equally stylish with a palette of warm colours, beautiful fabrics and quality fittings. The front door opens into a hallway with stairs to the first floor and doors to the shower room and quaint living room with kitchen beyond. Accommodation on the first floor is well planned with a good sized double bedroom with sea view from the little window above the bed and a second bedroom, ideal for kids, with bunk beds. The courtyard garden between the two is divided by a wicker fence to give each property some privacy, however the table and chairs at the house is large enough for you to get together and furnished with table and chairs, tempting you to make the most of the warmer months and sea air, enjoying meals outside. Off road parking’s provided for one car, and for added luxury, you can book the owners' beach hut, Escapade, with a 25% discount.

Whats Included?

Guests can benefit from a 25% discount on the cost of booking Escapade Beach Hut, subject to availability. The calendar is blocked for summer 2018 until April 2018 to give preferential booking so please be sure to book ASAP, after that time it will be opened to the general public.All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The semi-detached self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and appliances include a TV with FreeSat, Wifi and iPod docking station. The kitchen is well equipped with single electric oven with four ring hob and extractor fan, under counter fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washer dryer and Nespresso machine. Please note there isn’t a microwave.

The house is equipped with an AGA, fridge, three drawer freezer, electric oven and microwave plus a dishwasher and the sink in the sociable central island and a wall mounted TV; there's a washing machine and dryer in the utility room and a second TV in the living room plus Wifi. The table is ample size to accommodate guests from both properties.

These holiday properties in Southwold are in a wonderful location just off the wide grassy area known as South Green, just a short walk the market place, town centre and the popular beach.

The sandy beach of Southwold, just yards from 28 and Harriet's Cottage, is adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to Southwold's iconic Pier at one end and towards the Harbour at the other. The town, home to the Adnams Brewery, boasts several excellent pubs and restaurants, as well as a range of independent shops, cafes and galleries.

There is a pretty walk through the harbour and over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fish huts along the harbour.

Please note that there is space for ONE car only. The nose of the car needs to be parked as close to the fence in front of Harriet's Cottage as possible to allow the neighbour his right of way past the car; they are full time residents so please respect their access. Additional cars can be parked on nearby roads or public car parks.

A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Items are not to be moved between the two properties under any circumstances, if belongings are found at the incorrect property on departure there may be a charge deducted from the security deposit.
