10 Well Street at Bury St Edmunds

Accommodation in arranged over three floors with an extremely light living space with vaulted ceiling which maximises views of the west-facing walled garden sitting quietly at the back, together with a utility room and elegant sitting room at the front. Both big bedrooms are beautifully furnished, one on the first floor next to the modern bathroom and the other at the top of the house.

There’s roadside parking directly outside the house and the attractive landscaped garden at the back is a wonderful space to relax after a day exploring the market town.

Ground floor
A warm welcome awaits you as you enter the hallway at 10 Well Street with the living room to your right and carpeted stairs rising to the first-floor landing. A door opens to a second corridor leading to the wonderfully light and modern kitchen/dining space at the back of the house with doors to the pretty courtyard garden and there’s also a handy utility room on this floor.

Living Space
Natural light streams into this wonderful modern space with oak floorboards, feature window and door to the garden to make the most of warmer days and cosy sitting area– ideal for relaxing with family and friends. The modern well-equipped kitchen has an integrated electric oven, dishwasher, under counter fridge and three drawer freezer plus gas hob with extractor and freestanding microwave. The stylish table and chairs will encourage you to make the most of your holiday home, catering at home or popping out for a take-away.

Utility Room/Cloakroom
Convenient and essential with washer dryer as well WC and butler’s style sink.

Sitting Room
Located at the front of the cottage, this cosy room with warming electric wood burner effect fire is luxuriously furnished with a three-seater velvet sofa, additional chair and occasional tables plus TV.

First floor
Carpeted stairs rise to the first floor and upwards to the second floor, both carpeted other than the bathroom which has an eco-friendly cork floor.

Master Bedroom
Elegant and spacious, furnished with a super king-size bed with cushioned bedhead and super luxurious Vi spring mattress; bedside drawers, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, a rocking chair and attractive feature fireplace.

Contemporary bathroom with lots of natural light, bath with shower over, basin, WC, and heated towel rail.

Second Floor

Guest Bedroom
An equally lovely room at the top of the house also has twin beds with Vi spring mattress ensuring you have a good night's sleep. There’s hanging space in a built-in wardrobe as well as storage in a bedside cabinet and dressing table with drawer and stool.

The fully enclosed west-facing tiered walled garden is beautifully landscaped, laid with a mix of block paving and paving slabs with borders planted with ornamental grasses that whisper in the breeze. There is residents parking on Well Street and one parking permit will be available to guests.

This self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and appliances include a TV and Wifi. The kitchen is well equipped with integrated electric oven, dishwasher, under counter fridge and three drawer freezer plus gas hob with extractor and free standing microwave. There’s a washer/dryer in the utility room.

The Arc is Bury St Edmunds’ latest shopping outlet, with well-known high street names. Please note that the ceiling in the guest bedroom is typical of a Georgian town house and slightly lower than standard.
