The Estate Office, Thorpeness, Suffolk
Sleeps 4 – 5
The Estate Office is an uber-stylish ‘upside-down’ house has an enviable and unique location on the village green in Thorpeness, with views of The Meare boating lake, the village duck pond, and a view towards the sea from the living room balcony.
It has a striking modern interior with a palate of white, grey, red and black colours. Back in the early 1900s this property was thought to be the original Thorpeness Estate Office for Stuart Ogilve’s fantasy holiday village, hence the name.
On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a shower room. Upstairs is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area which is cleverly divided into separate living and dining/kitchen areas.
There are two first floor balconies, one with views of The Meare boating lake and other with a view towards the sea. Outside there’s off-road parking for two vehicles and a private landscaped patio garden.
