A beach hut is an added bonus to any seaside holiday, giving you a wonderful place to sit back and relax with friends and family, watching the world go by. Windrush has a curtain for privacy when changing after a swim, shelter from the from the sun and/or wind, a convenient spot to prepare hot drinks and snacks with plenty of crockery and cutlery provided, plus great storage for all that beach gear for your week.
The string of picturesque colourful beach huts run along Southwold’s seafront with this particular hut located close to the iconic pier to the south – ideal for strolling along to buy an ice cream or fish and chips!
This pretty hut is well-equipped for a relaxing day on the beach with a selection of chairs and stools; a couple of fixed tables inside which flip down to give you more space; gas stove (gas provided) with kettle; coffee and tea pots; plenty of crockery, plastic plates etc, tumblers, cutlery; wash bowl and some cleaning materials; so all you’ll need is a hamper of food and bottle of water (and/or wine) to set you up for the day. There are buckets, spades, bats etc. stored in a chest to keep the ‘little guests’ busy too.
Be sure to book your beach hut early to avoid disappointment as they are a much-loved asset to a traditional British seaside holiday and, as such, are frequently sold out. Guests staying at The Pink House are entitled to a 10% discount so please get in touch with Best of Suffolk to book.
