Best of Suffolk Covid-19 Information Page

Welcome to the Best of Suffolk Covid-19 Information Page.  On this page, you should find everything you need to know about your booking with Best of Suffolk and Covid-19.

Book with Confidence

We understand in times like these you’re looking for a little reassurance.  It’s why we’re clear about our Covid-19 refund policy as well as having our Terms and Conditions available to view and agree to before booking.  That way, you know exactly where you stand in the event of not being able to travel.

Our Covid-19 Refund Policy has been checked and approved by the CMA and Trading Standards, so you can rest assured and book with confidence at Best of Suffolk.

For all bookings affected by Covid-19 Government restrictions on travel, including national and local lockdowns and the ‘Rule of Six’, these are the options open to you;

  • Re-booking the same property for a future set of dates until the end of 2021, without any administration charge.
  • Receive a voucher credit for the full value of the booking for a future stay at the same property, to be taken by the end of 2021.
  • Cancel your booking and receive a full refund.

‘Rule of Six’ & ‘Local Covid Alert Level – Updated 16/10/2020

Following the Prime Minister’s briefing in which the ‘local Covid alert level’ and the ‘rule of six’ legislation was shared with the nation, we wanted to provide an update and some reassurance.

Click on the button below for a link to the Government website, which details the guidance clearly.  We are advising that you familiarise yourself with the rules and understand how this may affect your upcoming holiday.

We understand the majority of you would still like to have your holiday as planned, but reduce your party size and number of households so you are in accordance with the guidance.

As such, we will take it that your party size has been amended to be in line with the guidance and your booking will go ahead, unless we hear otherwise from you.

Of course, if you are not able to reduce your party size or amend the number of households, we are upholding guidelines from the CMA and Trading Standards for all bookings affected up to and including 31 December 2020.  As such, because your planned trip cannot take place because Covid-19 guidance is restricting your ability to travel, these are the options open to you;

  • Re-booking the same property for a future set of dates until the end of 2021, without any administration charge.
  • Receive a voucher credit for the full value of the booking for a future stay at the same property, to be taken by the end of 2021.
  • Cancel your booking and receive a full refund.

If you wish to take any of the above three options, please call us with your booking reference number and your preferred option.  The team are on hand to help, but please bear with us at this busy time, your patience is appreciated.

If you are due to arrive 1 January 2021 onward, please allow us to prioritise guests due to arrive imminently.  We will be in touch in due course, and will be unable to process any of the above options until nearer the time when we know if the ‘rule of six’ is still in place.

Local Lockdown

In the event of a ‘local lockdown’, either for Suffolk, or for your home location, we will be following all Government advice.  As such, your stay will be cancelled and we will issue you with either a voucher credit, valid for a new booking at the same property for use before 31 December 2021 or process a full refund.
