National Lockdown Advice – Update 02/11/2020

Following the Prime Ministers address, and the confirmation of a national lockdown effective 5 November 2020, we would like to provide some clarification to our current and future guests;

 

Guests On Holiday on 5 November 2020

For all guests that will be on holiday when the national lockdown comes into effect on 5 November, the official government advice is that current domestic holidays will be allowed to finish;

“Those currently on a domestic holiday will be allowed to finish their holidays, but are still subject to the requirements in England not to go out without a reasonable excuse.”

Guests Due to Arrive 5 November to 1 December 2020

For all guests that are due to arrive 5 November to 1 December 2020 your booking is suspended and cannot proceed;

“Overnight stays and holidays away from primary residences will not be allowed. This includes holidays abroad and in the UK.”

Please be assured, we are upholding guidelines from the CMA and Trading Standards.  As your planned booking cannot take place because of the national lockdown, there are a number of options available to you, including;

  • Re-booking for a future set of dates until the end of 2021, without any administration charge.
  • Receive a voucher credit for the full value of the booking for a future stay at the same property, to be taken by the end of 2021.
  • Cancel your booking and receive a full refund.

 

If you wish to take any of the above three options, please email bookings@bestofsuffolk.co.uk with your booking reference number and your preferred option, including your preferred dates in 2021.

Our Covid-19 Refund Policy has been checked and approved by the CMA and Trading Standards, so you can rest assured and book with confidence at Best of Suffolk.

For all bookings affected by Covid-19 Government restrictions on travel, these are the options open to you;

We are delighted to announce that Best of Suffolk have been officially ‘Good to Go’ since 4 July 2020 onward!

As part of the Visit Britain ‘We’re Good to Go’ campaign, Best of Suffolk have demonstrated we’re following all the necessary guidelines to have opened from 4 July and operate safely.

According to the Visit Britain website, “The ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and supporting mark means businesses across the sector can demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and check they have the required processes in place.”

So you can rest assured and book with confidence with Best of Suffolk.  We’re Good to Go!
