Set in the iconic seaside village of Thorpeness, on the Suffolk Coast. 6 The Whinlands is a beautiful traditional holiday home, positioned just a minutes walk from the beach, the Meare boating lake and wonderful pub and tearoom. You're welcome through the french doors into the dining room. From the dining room is the internal hallway leading to the kitchen, sitting room, utility room with shower beyond and stairs leading to the first floor. On the first floor are four sumptuous bedrooms, a king, two doubles and a twin, with a family bathroom. If you fancy dining alfresco there's an array of outdoor furniture, including a hammock and a BBQ for guests to enjoy in this beautiful wrap around garden. 6 The Whinlands benefits from both off road and roadside parking, making it easy for you to park up and make the most of the beautiful area on offer, whether that is by foot or even your bicycle. Ground floor Sitting Room Located at the front of the property, a wonderful space to sit back and relax, compelete with three generous size sofas, footstool, coffee table, rocking chair with occasional tables. There is a working fireplace for guests to enjoy, complete with guard, perfect for those cosy evenings. Dining room With french doors opening out onto the garden, a beautiful light room to enjoy those culinary delights. There is a large wooden table comfortably seating 8, with six chairs and two stools. In addition a beautiful welsh dresser sits with an array of glasswear and crockery. Kitchen This traditional kitchen boasts everything you need to cook up a storm, with a gas Smeg oven and grill, with a four-ring gas hob and extractor fan above, American style Liebherr fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Utility Room / Shower Room Accessed via the hallway, entering into the utility area with a washing machine, dryer and cushions for the external seating area. From the utility room is a very conveniently located shower with separate WC and wash basin. First Floor Steep and relatively narrow carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing. The stairs have hand rails on both sides. There is a stair gate provided. Bedroom 1 Located at the front of the house, elegantly decorated in a palette of grey and navy. This room offers a big bay window overlooking Thorpeness Common, with a handy desk for either getting ready in the morning, or alternatively a perfect spot to check your emails. Furnished with a double bed, bedside tables with drawers, chest of drawers and a clothes rail. Bedroom 3 Located at the rear of the property, perfect for both adults and children to enjoy. Complete with a chest of drawers an a clothes rail. Bedroom 4 Offering a king size bed, with chest of drawers, a hanging rail and wash basin with shelves beneath. Family Bathroom With easy access from all four bedrooms, complete with a bath with hand-held shower attachment, WC, wash basin and window giving natural light. Outside The house is on the corner of Whinlands and Westgate with parking in a parking bay opposite, or on the track leading up the side of the house. A fence surrounds this beautiful garden which wraps around the house, with lawn at the front featuring a fabulous double hammock and picnic benches. At the back of the property there's a patio with a rattan sofa and coffee table, as well as a bistro table and chairs and gas Webber BBQ.
