    “A very nice house - perfect for a group.”

    A luxury for each bedroom to have its own bathroom! The kitchen/dining/living room looks out over the garden, which is quite small, but very pretty and has a table for eating. It's useful to have the second living room too. We managed to park 2 smallish cars in the front garden. The house is very well located for the centre of Southwold and the beach. A minor note - we couldn't get the coffee machine to work. It may need descaling? The only negative comment is that it was difficult to contact ...

I had a simple query (would all the beds be made up), which I sent on WhatsApp as requested by BofS. The next day I got a message telling me to send the query again on WhatsApp or text or ring - so that was a waste of time. I then had to wait on the phone for 15mins before I could speak to someone.

Samphire House is a wonderful detached family holiday home located in the heart of Southwold, just off of the High Street. The property offers spacious accommodation across two floors, perfect for groups of families and friends to enjoy. At the rear of the property is an open plan living/kitchen/dining room with french doors opening out into the garden, in addition there is sitting room with woodburning stove at the front of the property. The property boasts two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor, with an additional two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor. Outside is a walled enclosed garden with space to enjoy dining alfresco. At the front of the property is a private parking space. Ground Floor Kitchen/Dining/Living Room Light and bright open plan layout, perfect for you to come together and enjoy quality time. The kitchen includes everything needed to cook up a storm, with an electric oven, built-in microwave, four ring induction hob with extractor fan above, dishwasher, washing machine (located in a cupboard), kettle and toaster. Meal times can be enjoyed at the wooden dining table comfortably seating eight. When evening calls sit back and relax on the sofa and watch a good film. Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
