    “We had a great weekend at Salt Marsh House.”

    It is very well equipped & immaculately clean, with everything we needed. The location is excellent within very easy reach of lovely Southwold & so good to have 2 off street parking spaces. We only had one problem in that we couldn’t get hot water to run from the main bathroom shower head, next to twin room. Plenty of hot water from bath tap, so maybe a plumber needs to look at the fitting

This property, which has recently been built, offers spacious living across three floors with beautiful views across the marshes and glimpses of the sea. Salt Marsh House boasts an open plan kitchen/living/dining room, a utility room, three bedrooms and three bathrooms across the three floors, with a fantastic sized garden featuring a decking area with tables and chairs for dining alfresco. The property is just a short walk away from the vibrant high street and sandy beach front with iconic pier. Ground Floor Entering into the spacious ground floor hallway, with hooks for your bags and coats. Hard wooden flooring runs throughout the ground floor. Utility Room Located at the rear of the property, with french doors leading out onto the garden and decking area. This room offers a variety of uses, whether its a preparation area for food/drink to enjoy in the garden with a fridge, spacious worktops and sink, or a space for your dog to retreat to after a dip in the sea, or even as a traditional utility room with washing machine and tumbler dryer. Two arm chairs are positioned to make the most of the stunning views on offer of the marshes and glimpses of the glistening sea. At the front of the property is off road parking for two cars, one located in the car port and the other behind. Additional parking is available along North Road on a first come basis.

SOUTHWOLD

Lowestoft 13.4 miles; Ipswich 35.1 miles

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
