Lots of interesting places to visit on our doorstep and plenty of eateries. We brought our cockapoo and he also gave it his seal of approval, high praise indeed!

“Fantastic little property, close to high street and supermarket/shops.”

Facilities at the house were exactly as described, fresh towels and linen provided, really clean. Parking is ok on the street just don’t expect to park directly outside but neighbours all seemed friendly. Great little takeaways locally. Great location for getting around Suffolk!

“The cottage is very clean and for that, I would like to thank you.”

It is very nice to arrive somewhere that is clean and the basic things like washing up liquid toilet rolls available. There is a need for at least a chest of drawers in the single bedroom and think that the double bedroom needs pillow protectors and a bed protector as the mattress is very stained. We found the bath although looks very nice, is difficult to get in and out of and think a walk-in shower would be much more beneficial to everyone, I did leave a note to say that water pours through the edge of the shower door and floods the floor so there could be a problem in the future for you. Probably needs a new kettle as the current one has a broken lid. Thank you for a pleasant stay in your cottage which is conveniently positioned to get about,

“Parking difficult some days !”

Bath far too high when trying to get in Bath for shower , should have at least a handle fitted on the wall ! As you know needed suction in Bath non slip bath Matt ! Or insurance would be invalid ! If anyone slipped in Bath! Not impressed that another client turned up to complain that they should have been staying & were shoved off to Aldeburgh ! Cottage cosy but hard work using second bedroom no furniture to put clothes in at all. Very dangerous and carpets sliding on slippery floor in big bedroom .

The kitchen/diner creates a bright and tranquil space for you to rustle up a storm, enjoying your meal at the dining table. Victoria Cottage houses two bedrooms, a double and a single with additional single pull out, and there is a ground floor bathroom for your refreshment. A beautiful garden accompanies this cottage, so dining alfresco is a must. Ground Floor Entering into the sitting room, with hard flooring throughout the ground floor. Sitting Room The sitting room features a comfortable two-seater sofa and two arms chairs, all perfectly positioned to enjoy the beautiful open fire and Smart TV. Kitchen/Dining Room A beautiful modern kitchen awaits with ample storage space. You'll be sure to have everything you need to cook up a storm, with an integrated Neff oven with four ring hob and extractor above, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. In addition there is a washing machine available for guests to use in the outbuilding. The dining area offers a light and airy space to enjoy those all important meal times, whilst being able to look out on the garden area. There is a dining table with seating for up to four guests. First Floor Typical cottage stairs with a turn, which are slightly steep from the dining area leading to the landing. Bedroom One This spacious room features a king bed with bedside table and lamps, built in wardrobe for your belongings and dressing table with chair. Wash Room With a wash basin and WC. Bedroom Two With views of this garden, this room offers a full size single bed with pull out single. There is a built in cupboard for storage. Outside Victoria Cottage offers a beautiful enclosed garden space for guests to enjoy. Stretching from a small patio area onto a spacious lawn. Enjoy dining alfresco on the beautiful table with two chairs (additional chairs in the summer house), in the addition the summer house offers a space to retreat too with a good book. Parking is available outside the cottage on a first come basis, additional parking is available on surrounding roads.

Saxmundham is a small market town located on the River Fromus, in the heart of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. The town is well serviced with independent shops, local museum, supermarkets and a train station, as well as art galleries, a weekly market and a farmers’ market. Situated so close to the coast, Saxmundham is a great base for a seaside holiday; within easy reach of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, as well as Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick, you could enjoy a different coastal location each day. Also close by is the inland market town Framlingham with beautiful historic architecture, a castle and an array of independent shops.
