“You need to be fully fit and mobile to use the serial staircase - especially during the night.”

The stove was the biggest drawback - very difficult to use despite reading instructions. The touchpad on hob was not always responsive to pressure and the hot plates could switch themselves off for no reason. The oven itself was also extremely difficult, not always heating up and delaying our supper more than once. It seemed to get muddled up with timer mode, but even this wasn't consistent. Basically the technology is far too 'clever' and complicated and for older people who use the cottage ...

Basically the technology is far too 'clever' and complicated and for older people who use the cottage nothing can beat a simple old fashioned stove with knobs! Otherwise the garden and outside area was lovely and the appearance and location of cottage.
