walking was great with dogs and local pub only 5 minutes down the road. The cottage is large for two person accommodation but the wooden floor, although surface clean, was stained with mud and needed a deep clean as did the kitchen unit doors. We found the fridge too small for our needs and the available work surface made it difficult to prepare food . We also found the bed too firm for us and had to buy a topper but realise that is a personal choice although it is important that guest can sleep

Thank you very much for your kind comments Valerie about the cottage overall and the area, it is indeed a haven for walkers. We very much appreciate your feedback on the floor and cupboards. They’re both solid oak which of course means they age and colour differently depending on wear but we shall immediately give them an extra thorough clean.
