The property

A stable door leads through from the kitchen. This space is ideal to access when coming in from a long countryside walks, with space for muddy boots and coats. This room offers additional worktop space and storage, along with another beautiful Belfast sink, washing machine, American style fridge-freezer, iron/ironing board and a pully to dry your clothes.

Light fills the room from the dual-aspect windows to both the front and rear garden space. An inner hallway links to the kitchen, which features exposed timbers and stairs leading up to the first floor.
Libary and Snug Area
Located off the Sitting Room, with access to the inner hallway leading to both the kitchen and stairs up to the first floor. This is a wonderful additional seating area, perfect for sitting back with a good book and glass of wine. There is a sumptious two seater-sofa and and additional armchair offering comfortable seating. The owners have created two large window seats with an array of cushions, perfect for children to enjoy, or for the adults to sit back and relax whilst taking in the gorgeous views of the grounds.
Drawing Room
Located at the front of the property, from the entrance hall, this spacious room offers a separate space for the family to relax in. Like the other reception room, the drawing room offers gorgeous exposed timbers and inglenook feature fireplace (please note this is not in use). There is a three seater, two seater sofa and additional arm chair to enjoy, with a large vibrant ottoman.
First Floor
There are two carpeted staircases leading up to the first floor. The first staircase is located off the entrance hall, please note this is an original staircase and therefore is very steep and narrow, with no hand rail. The second staircase is located from the inner hallway leading to the kitchen. This is a standard stair case and is the preferred one to use.
Bedroom 1
A light and spacious room, with dual aspect views of the grounds. This grand space again with exposed timbers features a super-king bed with bedside tables and stylish lamps. There is ample storage provided, with a double chest of drawers and ottoman box.
Bedroom 1 En-suite Shower Room
With part vaulted ceiling and wooden flooring, this gorgeous en-suite has everything you need, with a large walk in shower with glass surround, two wash basins with large mirror above, WC and a beautiful freestanding bath with hand shower attachment.
Bedroom 2
This fun and exciting room with bold emerald crushed velvet head board offering space for both adults and children to enjoy. The bed can be set up as either a King size as standard or a Twin on request (2'6 beds) with a bedside table and tiger lamp either side. There is a luxurious two seater sofa with pendant lighting above, offering an additional space to relax. There is ample storage in this room with two built in cupboards.
Bedroom 3
This calm and tranquil room with double windows is such a light and spacious space to relax at the end of the day. There is a king size bed with bedside table and lamps, built in storage cupboard and two comfortable armchairs and small table.

Steep and narrow stairs, with limited head height in parts lead up to the second floor landing.

Old Bloxhall House is accessed through double gates over a gravelled driveway and parking area. The grounds are predominantly laid to lawn with a pond to the east of the property. To the south boundary is an ancient historic moat that now attracts an abundance of wildlife. The garden is currently being landscaped, with building works taking place.
There is ample parking space available for up to 6 cars in front of the double garage.
Please note the moat and pond are not secured so children should be supervised when using the garden.

BILDESTON
Ipswich 13.1 miles; Bury St Edmunds 14.7 miles.
Within the county of Suffolk lies Bildeston, a small village holding lots of history, situated north of the Dedham Vale AONB and south-east of the larger town of Bury St Edmunds. This thriving village enjoys a whole host of amenities, including several pubs, one of which is a gastro-pub, The Crown, where you can delight in excellent food on holiday. Along with these watering holes, there is a village shop and Post Office, a village hall and a bike shop, so you aren't far away from all you need within this little corner of Suffolk. The surrounding area is made up of rolling hills, vast farmlands with a scattering of villages, so ensure you've packed some walking boots for your holiday so you can enjoy the landscape to the fullest. Around 40-minutes in the car brings you to the large town of Ipswich where you can find all of your favourite shopping places as well as a wide selection of restaurants, some on the waterfront overlooking the banks of the lovely River Orwell.
