“This apartment is a real gem.”
Almost new, it provides well designed, comfortable accommodation in the lovely village of Bredfield. It has all of the usual facilities and is very thoughtfully, and attractively laid out. Everything was clean and very well cared for. There is even garage space for one car and off road parking for a second vehicle. As we were waiting for our house to be completed, we stayed for around 6 weeks so we really tested the property. It passed with flying colours.
It is on the first floor so I would not consider it suitable for some less physically able visitors, otherwise I would readily have given it 10/10!
Bredfield is very convenient for beautiful Suffolk villages such as Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, Snape, Orford etc. and the local rural lanes are excellent for walking/cycling from the doorstep.
The owner was extremely amenable and very willing to please with any queries. We are so grateful for that.

Gad About is a newly built, idyllic, first floor self-catering cart lodge located near Woodbridge. This one bedroom property which is ideal for couples boasts an open plan living/kitchen/dining area, king-bedroom and family bathroom. In addition there is private parking.
Gad About is located in a village called Bredfield; in very close proximity to the market towns of Woodbridge, Wickham Market and Framlingham, as well as excellent access to the Suffolk coast.
First Floor
Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing area, with open plan kitchen/sitting/dining area to your left, and the king bedroom and bathroom to your right.

A fantastic social space perfect for couples to enjoy, whether it's cooking up a storm in the kitchen, enjoying those culinary delights in the dining area, or just enjoying some down time in the sitting area.
Kitchen
The stylish modern contrasting navy kitchen spreads across the length of the room, offering ample space for the chef of the party to produce those culinary delights. The owners have carefully equipped the kitchen with everything you need for your stay, these include two Neff electric ovens, four ring induction hob with extractor fan above, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and a Nespresso Coffee Machine.
Dining Area
Gad About benefits from two seating areas. The kitchen has been designed to feature a stylish breakfast bar with three bar stools, ideal for breakfast. In addition there is a wooden dining table with four modern dining chairs.
Sitting Area
The classic emerald green three-seater sofa if just calling your name, enjoy a relaxing evening in whilst enjoying a book from the bookshelf or whilst watching a film on the Smart TV.
Bedroom 1
Relax after a busy day exploring Suffolk in this sumptuous king size bed, with bedside tables and side lamps. Ample storage has been provided for you with a double wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom
Grab yourself a glass of wine and good book and enjoy a long soak in the bath. In addition this well equipped bathroom has a shower cubical, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside
Gad About offers off road parking for two cars, one within the car port and the other behind. From the side of The Gad About is a set of steps leading up to the road, with ample footpaths for you to enjoy. There is a three-pin plug for cars to be charged. Please contact us for use.

Woodbridge is a historic riverside market town boasting an outstanding selection of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. The town has been famous for boatbuilding, rope and sail making since the Middle Ages. The working tide mill is a major attraction and a must visit for anyone staying in the area. The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife with wonderful views over to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo. The town hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to visit.
