Spexhall Barns are two self-contained self-catering cottages surrounded by countryside with an abundance of wildlife including muntjac deer, bats, badgers, squirrels and many birds for you to identify. Both properties have private decks and the one outside Red Poll Barn, overlooking the moat has sufficient space and outdoor furniture for six guests to enjoy eating al fresco, perhaps enjoying a BBQ.
The owners are happy for you to wander around almost two acres of their stunning moated gardens and grounds. For the ultimate in relaxation, guests can bring their rods and fish for rudd and perch in the pond.
There’s a drive from the main road to the Rookyards Estate with ample parking for four cars and a path leads to the doors of your accommodation.
The surrounding countryside lends itself to cycling and you can store bikes undercover in one of the cart sheds.
