“A lovely well-equipped cottage, clean and comfortable.”

The garden is nice and secure for dogs. Molly loved it. The owner provided a very nice welcome basket plus basics like tea, coffee and milk - great after queues in the Friday traffic. The location is good although entering and leaving the driveway can be a bit scary because it’s on a bend with some traffic exceeding the speed limit. There is a good local butcher in Ramsey village, where they also have homemade cakes and a fish counter at weekends.

HARWICH

Clacton-on-Sea 15 miles; Colchester 17 miles

This historic port town sits at the mouth of the River Stour in Essex. Just 15 miles away is the popular seaside town of Clacton-on-Sea, hosting a beach and a pier for a quintessentially English day by the sea.
