Castle Cottage is situated on the edge of the historic town of Eye, near Diss. Eye is situated on the River Dove and has a fabulous café, a small supermarket, butchers, post office, newsagent and a deli. There’s an interesting selection of antique shops to browse and the remains of a small castle to walk around. There are several good pubs and restaurants a short drive from the village including The Fox and Goose at Fressingfield, and The Swan Inn at Hoxne.
