Mirabelle is the cosy country cottage is for you!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you love waking up to birdsong, stopping to admire a passing dragonfly or simply enjoy all that Mother Nature has created, a holiday staying in Mirabelle must be on your to-do list!<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-38611\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bestofsuffolk.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2022\/08\/Combined-Page-Front-External.jpg\" alt=\"Mirabelle cottage Suffolk nature birdwatching\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mirabelle is a charming mid-terrace holiday cottage in the quintessential Suffolk village of Kelsale, home of Suffolk Flora Preservation Trusts\u2019 Simpsons <a href=\"http:\/\/www.suffolkflora.org\/reserves\/fromus-nature\">Fromus Valley<\/a>; a beautifully preserved wildlife site in a hidden valley with meadows, woodland, ancient trees and ponds open on specially selected days.\u00a0\u00a0Highlights include the river Fromus, which runs through a wooded gulley cutting a deep gorge out into the meadows through the length of the reserve before flowing through Kelsale village, and past Mirabelle&#8217;s door!<\/p>\n<p>The 27 acres at Fromus Valley also support over 50 bird species including endangered species such as bullfinch, yellowhammer and skylark.\u00a0 The site provides a wildlife haven attracting high numbers of passing migrant birds in the winter, including fieldfares and redwings and acting as a refuge for resident bird species.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-38612\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bestofsuffolk.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2022\/08\/Kitchen-from-living-room-corner.jpg\" alt=\"Mirabelle cottage suffolk nature birdwatching\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All of this is only a few minutes\u2019 walk from your charming rural retreat in Mirabelle. From parking on the gravel drive you&#8217;ll enter this pretty mid terraced cottage into a very useful entrance porch with cloakroom to the left and the living \/ dining room to the right. To the left of the fireplace there is a door to the stairs and the kitchen is at the back with a stable door leading to the enclosed garden.
