The Suffolk Show is an institution, and has formed an integral part of the spring calendar for locals and visitors alike for over 50 years.

Organised by the 188 year old Suffolk Agricultural Association, the event remains a unique celebration of everything that makes the county great and showcases Suffolk’s food, farming and agricultural heritage in fun and innovative ways.

Proudly labelled as the largest two-day visitor experience in the county, this incredible event hosted nearly 90,000 people over the two days and showcased some of the best food, drink, amusements and livestock Suffolk has to offer.

They knew it was going to be a great day, as before they event stepped foot into Trinity Park they were greeted by two beautiful mermaids in the car park!

Amongst the many attractions and events the highlight for Matthew and Alex was the world of Suffolk wildlife by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, who won the award for the best stand representing environment.  At the stand, children were able to enjoy pond dipping, while being introduced to bee keeping and how to create a mini pond for their gardens.

Displays across the two days included an acrobatic master class by the world famous Imps Motorcycle Display Team, tug of war by the young farmers and Suffolk’s finest horses were shown off in the Grand Parade.
