Best of Suffolk are passionate about everything Suffolk and especially supporting local suppliers and producers so they were delighted to be able to take part in the Brick Kiln Barn Annual Asparagus Feast!
The event is taking place on Sunday 12 May 2013 at 12.45pm and tickets are available via the Brick Kiln Barn website – a sumptuous lunchtime feast of local asparagus, rare breed pork/local lamb/vegetarian options and a seasonal dessert will be served by resident chef Peter Harrison. So how are Best of Suffolk getting involved…well here is a clue!
Best of Suffolk Director Alex Tarry has accepted the challenge of racing the locally produced, fresh asparagus from field to fork and he is going to do it in style. The tender tips and succulent stems will be collected from the field and raced in Best of Suffolk’s vintage Morris Minor to the kitchens at the historic setting of Brick Kiln Barn.
