A charming detached holiday cottage in mid Suffolk surrounded by a large garden and peaceful countryside!
Beautifully renovated, combining period features with contemporary furnishings – an ideal place to relax and enjoy some rural seclusion.
The cottage has period features such as the huge inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove, brick pamment floors and oak beams throughout, with contemporary furnishings. Wrenswood, named after the pretty bird, is located on the outskirts of the village of Hunston in mid Suffolk – a wonderful base for relaxing or exploring the county.
Guests are welcomed into the lobby with storage for coats and boots, before going through to the spacious double aspect living room. A door opens into an inner hall leading through to the lovely light kitchen/breakfast room with doors to the garden. The bathroom is on the ground floor through a utility area. Upstairs, there is a beautiful light master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, wooden floors, king sized bed and far reaching views over the fields. The second bedroom is also full of character with beams, views and double bed.
This secluded self catering cottage is set in extensive gardens that wrap around the property, enclosing it in peaceful countryside with many wild flowers in spring. A path leads from the driveway to the front door with an additional kitchen door opening onto the lawn at the rear where a round table and four chairs invite guests to relax and enjoy the peace; the only sounds you will hear are those of nature and the occasional eeee-or from Scruffy the donkey who lives next door!
