Home to the 1st Earl of Bristol and subsequent family members, The Lodge at Ickworth, a converted farmhouse was inhabited for some 100 years whilst the splendour of Ickworth House was created.
Now housing 11 individual one, two and three bedroom apartments, The Lodge provides its occupants with the flexibility and independence to come and go as they please. It’s just half a mile from the main hotel and is set amongst 4 acres of beautiful gardens.
The Lodge offers spacious accommodation for large families, groups of friends, or simply for those who want to get away from it all. Each apartment boasts views of the private gardens or the vast grounds of the Ickworth Estate. There is ample private parking with special areas for children and adults alike, perfect for those lazy summer evenings.
All televisions have Freeview channels and there is complimentary WiFi throughout. There’s also a selection of DVD’s available to provide entertainment on those rainy days!
A cooked breakfast is included in the rate and can be enjoyed in our Garden Room at weekends and during school holidays. At other times it can be taken in the main hotel. The Garden Room can be used throughout the day for games or family gatherings.
Dinner can be taken at the main hotel and for those who would like some grown up time to dine in style in Frederick’s, our fine dining restaurant, we are able to provide you with a babysitter for a few hours (advance notice is required for babysitting; please allow 72 hours’ notice, charges apply).
So, if you are looking for an informal setting for your stay here at Ickworth, then The Lodge is just perfect for you, your family and friends.
