If you haven’t yet tasted the delicious Alde Valley Lamb from Jason Gathorne-Hardy’s farm in the beautiful Alde Valley, then you are in for a treat. Jason has just started supplying his 2011 New Season lamb to Salters Family Butchers on Aldeburgh High Street.
Several fantastic eateries in the area also have Alde Valley Lamb on their menu, such as The Harbour Inn, Southwold, The Farm Café, A12 Marlesford, The Bell at Walberswick, and Cafe 1885 at Snape Maltings – so there’s plenty of opportunity to sample Jason’s delightful tender meats!

Jason’s home-brand Alde Valley Lamb TM is home-reared and fed on milk, grass and a wholefood supplement of crushed barley. He aims to produce home-grown lamb to Farm Assured standards with exceptional flavour and having eaten it on many occasions I can confirm that he’s done just that!
Salters Family Butchers is Jason’s exclusive butcher outlet in Suffolk, and is open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 4pm, with early closing at 1pm on Mondays & Wednesdays.
