This self-catering holiday cottage has a lovely big garden – particularly good for families with young children who will also enjoy the toys and books which the owners have left for them. Piglet Cottage retains many of its quirky period features which have been complemented by modern furnishings to provide comfortable and affordable accommodation close to the beautiful Suffolk coast in the village of Uggeshall.
You’re welcomed into a front hall which leads to the cosy living room with warming wood burner and through to the dining room and kitchen with good old fashioned pantry. A modern bathroom is also on the ground floor and the three bedrooms are on the first floor, all with rural views.
The cottage garden is mostly laid to lawn with well-designed borders to give interest throughout the seasons and wooden deck where guests can relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. There’s space for two cars to park off-road next to a gravel front garden and you’re just a ten-minute drive from Southwold when you’re ready to venture out.
