In case you were wondering, this aptly named cottage is just thirty nine steps from Aldeburgh's stunning beach!

This pretty cottage has a sophisticated interior style that we think you will love. The rooms are cheery, bright and tasteful and will help to make your holiday by the sea a delight.

As you enter the property you arrive into a welcoming living/dining/kitchen area. There is a comfy sofa for you to sit down on and take your shoes off. Beyond the kitchen area you will find a well-appointed shower room. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom (with a king size bed) and the principle living room.

Ground Floor: The front door leads into the living/dining area.

Living/dining area: There is a table seating four, an antique sprung sofa, re-upholstered in contemporary fabric. There’s a 32" flat screen TV and a Bose iPod docking station. The artwork above the sofa is produced by a local family artist, Mo Rumsby. Next to the table is a sash window overlooking King Street, a road that is tucked away between the High Street and the seafront.

Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen has all Siemens appliances, including a gas hob and electric oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave and a slimline dishwasher. It is ideally situated for entertaining while preparing tea, coffee or meals.

Shower room: This modern and functional room is well lit and equipped with a corner shower, hand basin, w.c. and a Bosch washer and dryer. The seaside artworks gives this room a jolly feel.

First floor: Rising from the dining area there is an angled staircase that leads to a landing. The staircase is complimented with the art of Mo and is cleverly lit with LEDs set into the side of the steps.

Master bedroom: This romantic room has rich reds and sensual cream colours. There’s a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and more striking artwork by Mo Rumsby. There’s an elegant dressing table and a mirror situated in one corner and two windows allowing plenty of natural light into the room.

Sitting room: This spacious first floor sitting room has a two seater sofa and an armchair, and fitted shelves housing another 32" flat screen TV. French doors open to a Juliet balcony overlooking King Street.

Outside: On road parking is usually available close by in King Street and also in a nearby Pay and Display car park.

This stylish holiday cottage is situated on the little road between the sea front (Crag Path) and the High Street at Aldeburgh, so itÂÂÂ’s ideal if youÂÂÂ’d like to be within a short walk of the townÂÂÂ’s popular shops, restaurants and beach.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen and towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The accommodation is equipped with gas central heating throughout, two flat screen TVs, a DVD player, Wifi, Ipod docker, gas hob and electric oven, microwave, slimline dishwasher, a washer/dryer, and a fridge with freezer compartment.

A travel cot and a high chair are available from the owners on request – please mention on the booking form.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
