COUPLES SUFFOLK SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

The Old Dairy is an utterly charming holiday cottage for two, with it's own walled garden, in the grounds of Mill House near Needham Market in the heart of Suffolk.  The property is beautifully presented with a joyous, lively interior and is ideal for an escape to the country!

There is ample parking for guests and inside all of the accommodation is on one floor with the bedroom and kitchen leading off from the sitting room.  There is a well-appointed shower room beyond the kitchen and most of the rooms overlook the cottage’s garden.

GROUND FLOOR:  From the private parking space there is a gate into the enclosed garden and a path to the entrance, which is a large glass sliding door.

LIVING ROOM: This room has a large leather two-seater sofa and an antique rocking chair.  In one corner there is an interesting piece of the building’s history: a glass window allows you to look down into the original well. The well is boxed in and is used as a stand for the flat screen TV with FreeView channels, a DVD player and an iPod docking station.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM:  There is a table and chairs for two and the kitchen has a Belfast sink, wooden worktops, a two-ring electric hob, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a washing machine and a combination microwave which can cook like a convential oven.

BEDROOM: The bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe with drawers, a dressing table and two bedside tables. 

SHOWER ROOM: There is a corner shower with a power shower, a hand basin, and a W.C.

OUTSIDE:   There is private parking for one car and a large enclosed garden with a BBQ, table and chairs.

The Old Dairy is situated between the historic wool towns of Needham Market (1.6 miles away) and Stowmarket (2.1 miles away) in the heart of Suffolk, both with a good choice of pubs and restaurants as well as a number of country pubs in the many villages surrounding the area. 

Needham Market has a historic High Street where there are plenty of independent shops to browse.

Stowmarket has the outdoor Museum of East Anglian Life where you can discover a little more about why Suffolk is so special.

Historic Lavenham is a short distance away as is the town of Bury St Edmunds which has the cathedral and abbey gardens and excellent shopping, and The Old Dairy is only about 30 minutes from Felixstowe.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This ground floor self-catering annexe is equipped with oil-fired central heating as well as storage heaters. Appliances include a flat screen TV, FreeView TV channels, DVD player, iPod docker, WiFi Broadband, two-ring electric hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, washer and a microwave. There is carpeted flooring in the living room and bedroom, and the kitchen/diner and bathroom has a tiled flooring.

Sorry, no pets, children, smoking or unaccompanied teenagers. 

This property is not equipped with a dishwasher or an oven but has a combination microwave that can cook like a conventional oven.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
