Romantic holiday in the Suffolk countryside

This converted hayloft has large windows which give countryside views over wooded areas and fields, it’s a nice space in which to relax.

Stairs from the front door lead up to a large open plan living area with floor to ceiling windows and countryside views. There’s a bedroom with a king size bed and a shower room. Outside there’s a patio area. All in all it’s a stylish bolt-hole for two.

First floor: Stairs lead from the ground floor doorway to a large open plan living/kitchen/dining room.

Living/kitchen/dining room: This spacious room is full of clean lines and character, with exposed original roof and wall timbers and wide oak floor boards. There’s a corner sofa and rocking chair, a leather chaise longue, contemporary artwork, and a flat screen TV with a DVD player. The kitchen area has a two-ring electric hob and oven, dishwasher, and fridge. There’s also a dining table with two chairs. A combination washer/dryer is located in the separate lobby area on the ground floor.

Bedroom: The bedroom has a king size bed with leather head and foot boards, bedside tables and lots of built-in wardrobe space.

Shower room: There’s a shower, a w.c. and a hand basin.

Outside: The Hayloft is reached down a quiet tree-lined country lane and is in the grounds of a magnicifent medieval farmhouse and has a courtyard area with a table and chairs and a BBQ. Access to The Hayloft is through a cartlodge. Off-road parking is available the other side of the quiet lane, just beyond The Hayloft.

Situated in rolling Suffolk countryside with footpaths from the door, it is an great spot for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, or just to relax for a few days.

The pretty riverside town of Woodbridge is 4 miles away, with a number of great places to eat including the award winning Riverside restaurant and the chic Crown Inn. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is a short drive away with Aldeburgh and Southwold both easily accessible.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This first floor property is equipped with oil fired central heating throughout. Facilities include a flat screen TV with the four main terrestrial channels, a teo-ring electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, and a BBQ.

The property has wide oak floor boards throughout. A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

Sorry, no pets, smoking or unaccompanied teenagers. The bedroom has a partially sloping ceiling on one side of the bed.  The property is in the grounds of a stunning Suffolk farmhouse.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
