"Fantastic! Perfect cottage, glorious position, lovely town. Wish we could stay longer. Wonderful!!... Booking for next year"

This light and airy seafront ground floor apartment has a wonderful spot on Aldeburgh’s Crag Path, with views of the sea and fishing boats from the pretty patio garden and large bay windows.

The apartment has been tastefully decorated and has a large open plan living/dining/kitchen, two bedrooms, both en-suite and one with a king size bed and the other with bunk beds.  Outside there’s a patio that looks out onto Crag Path with lovely sea views.  It’s an ideal spot for a glass of wine or cup of coffee as you watch people stroll up and down the seafront.

The accommodation:

Lobby: The front door leads to a small lobby with a large cupboard for storing your coats and outdoor shoes. There are doors off the lobby to the living room and the bunk bed room.

Open plan living/dining/kitchen:  This large room has sea views through a large bay window and is furnished with a leather sofa and two white and biscuit checkered fabric covered armchairs. There are coffee tables and a coal-effect electric fire to supplement the central heating and an ipod docking station. The dining area has a square wooden table which can be extended if desired along with four chairs.  The modern kitchen has an electric hob and oven, slimline dishwasher, microwave, extractor fan, and a freestanding fridge freezer (a washing machine and tumble dryer are also available in a utility room).

Bedroom 1: A large bedroom with a king size bed, bedside tables, a built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers.  The room has views over a neighbouring patio and the room is accessed through the living room.

En-suite bathroom: There’s a claw foot roll top bath with a hand-held shower attachment (the bath is shorter in length than a standard one and is very comfy), a w.c. and a hand basin.

Bedroom 2: This bright room has lovely sea views from the bay window.  There is a bunk bed, a window seat, and a wardrobe.

En-suite shower room: This room has a shower, a w.c., a small hand basin and shelves.

Utility room: This handy storage room is reached through the shower room and houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.  (You’ll need to watch your head as you enter as the ceiling is very low in places.)

Outside:  There’s a pretty patio at the front of the apartment with views of the beach and painted fishermen’s huts. an ‘access only’ road with limited road traffic. Aldeburgh’s lifeboat station is nearby, and children will enjoy watching this being launched down the shingle beach during exercises.  On road parking is often available in front of the house or near by.  There is also a pay and display car park which is very close by.
