Slaughden End, Brudenell Street, Aldeburgh
A lovely south facing Victorian house with a light and airy interior ideally situated between the beach and the High Street, close to the Brudenell Hotel. It is ideal for a family or for two couples. The beach and Aldeburgh’s boutique shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. The property is well equipped and includes a travel cot and a stair gate.
The house has three bedrooms: two double bedrooms (one with the en suite cloakroom) and a small third bedroom with small children’s bunk beds and a bathroom with shower. Downstairs there’s an open plan kitchen/dining room, a living room with an open fire and a further cloakroom next to the back door. Outside is a south-facing patio with seating – it’s a lovely spot to catch up on a book that you are reading or to enjoy a glass of wine.
Ground floor:
The front door leads into a hallway with doors to the living room and kitchen/dining room.
Living room: A cosy and well furnished living room with an open fire, two sofas, a small flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player, lots of books and a big sash window.
Open plan kitchen/dining room: The dining area has a large pine table with seating for six, wooden flooring and artwork on the walls. In the well-equipped kitchen you’ll find a Neff gas hob and electric oven, a Bosch fridge-freezer, dishwasher, a washing machine with integrated tumble dryer, microwave and stainless steel sink. This room has three windows providing lots of natural light with a south and west facing aspect.
Cloakroom: Beyond the kitchen is a hallway with access to the back door and a cloakroom with w.c. and hand basin.
First floor:
Bedroom 1 and en suite cloakroom: A double bedroom with carpeted floor, chest of drawers, bedside tables, a built-in wardrobe and an ornamental fire place. The en suite cloakroom has a w.c, sink and a chrome column radiator.
Bedroom 2: A double bedroom with bedside tables, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and carpet.
Bedroom 3: A very small bedroom with full length, 2’6” wide bunk beds.
Family Bathroom: With shower over the bath, surrounded by blue mosaic tiles - with w.c. and basin
Outside: There is a south-facing patio to the front of the house with benches to relax on and there is a parasol to provide shade when needed. There is also an allocated car parking space opposite the back door to the house.

Slaughden End is close to the Brudenell Hotel, just a short walk from the beach and Aldeburgh's boutique shops, renowned restaurants, art galleries and beach.
What's included?
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen and towels, gas and electricity. You will also receive a complimentary bottle of Prosecco wine and some local produce to get your break off to a sparkling start.
The property is equipped with gas central heating, an open fire, Neff hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, TV, DVD player, CD player, and garden benches. A travel cot and high chair are available on request.
Should you be visiting with small children, the property includes a range of amenities to assist, including: a stair gate, travel cot, night light, listening devices, baby changing mat, potty, booster seat and stools.
Restrictions: Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.
Tariff
£530 to £1,100 a week depending on the time of year. Shorter breaks are often available when there is late availability – please check the online calendar for details.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
