About the property
A delightful, south facing, small end of terrace cottage just a short stroll from the High Street and beach, tucked away down a short path off Alde Lane.
The cottage is ideal for couples or a family of up to four and has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with bunk beds. It’s light and airy with a small, south facing garden which has been stylishly landscaped with pebbles and ornamental grasses, and incorporates a small decked area with outside table and chairs.
Ground Floor:
The front stable door leads into a small hallway giving access to the living room, kitchen/dining room and the stairs.
Living room: This light and airy south facing room has a blue sofa and two leather armchairs, a woodburner style gas fire and a large sash window with wooden blinds that overlooks the landscaped garden at the front of the cottage. There’s a flat screen TV and DVD player and a selection of DVDs, games and books.
Kitchen/diner: Slate floor tiles run throughout this open plan kitchen/diner, and the dining area has a modern wooden table with four chairs. Dual aspect windows look out over the garden and deck and are fitted with wooden blinds. Beyond it is the kitchen with appliances that include a Baumatic electric cooker and 2 ring gas hob, integral fridge with freezer compartment, integral washing machine and a slimline Smeg dishwasher.
Bathroom: Beyond the kitchen/diner is the natural stone tiled family bathroom comprising bath with a fitted over-head shower and an additional hand-held shower attachment for use in the bath, a hand basin, W.C. and chrome column radiator/towel rail.
1st floor:
Stairs lead from the ground floor hallway to a small landing with doors to both of the bedrooms.
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a French style, wooden, hand painted king size bed, a chest of drawers, a pair of bed side tables, fitted wardrobe and curtains to the south-facing window.
Bedroom 2: This room has a set of white painted wooden bunk beds, a fitted wardrobe, a chest of drawers and has curtains to the window.
Outside:
There is a stylish small garden that has a raised decked area with table and chairs and a landscaped area with seaside pebbles and ornamental grasses, and a pretty wisteria climbing up the front of the cottage. There is a right of access over the garden to the cottage next door.
About the area
The cottage is situated just off Alde Lane, a short stroll away from the High Street and the beach. Aldeburgh is a pretty coastal town with a very popular selection of restaurants, cafes and independent shops.
What's included?
All prices include bed linen, towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The property is equipped with gas central heating throughout, flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD/DAB Radio, electric cooker with 2 ring gas hob and extractor fan, fridge with freezer compartment, slimline dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave. A high chair and travel cot are also available. A selection of books, CDs, DVDs and games are provided.
Restrictions: Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.
Tariff
£360 to £680 a week depending on the time of year. Short breaks available when there is late availability – please check the online calendar for details.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
