Stay in holiday accommodation with sea views

This chic and stylish seaside apartment features a lovely view towards the sea and fishermen’s huts from the living room. The owner is a professional interior designer and you can tell that she’s enjoyed putting this apartment together – from the cheerful pale blue and creamy white décor to the selection of furniture and her collection of artwork on the walls.

Seagulls is a large airy first floor apartment with an open plan living space with white-painted wooden floors, four bedrooms (a king, a double, a twin and a single with a second pull-out bed), a bathroom and a shower room. Downstairs there’s small private patio with a table and chairs. The house has broadband access.

Hallway: The front door leads into a hallway with stairs to the first floor and access to the patio.

First floor landing: At the top of the stairs there’s a large landing with a settle sofa and a writing table.

Open plan living/dining/kitchen area: The landing opens out to a large ‘C’ shaped open plan space where you’ll find the living, kitchen and dining areas.

The living room area has a lovely partial view of the sea and the fishermen’s huts that line the beach, a three seater sofa and two armchairs and a large coffee table. There’s a flat screen TV with Sky freeview channels, a DVD player and CD player. Some of the artwork on the walls is by local artists and gives the room a real flavour of the seaside.

The dining area has a long refectory-style table with chairs and a bench with cheerful blue-checked cushions.

The kitchen area is around the corner, providing a clever divide from the rest of the living space and has some of the owner’s collection of ceramics round the walls. There’s a gas hob, electric oven, extractor fan, dishwasher, a tall fridge with a two-shelf freezer above, a microwave and a washing machine.

Bedroom 1: This lovely large room has a king size bed, a chest of drawers, dressing table, a canvas wardrobe, bedside tables and seagrass carpet.

Bedroom 2: This room has a double bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a coat stand with hangers for your clothes and a seagrass carpet.

Bedroom 3: This is a twin bedroom with a fun ‘beach hut’ wood and canvas wardrobe and a chest of drawers and seagrass carpeting.

Bedroom 4: A single bedroom with a ‘beach hut’ wood and canvas wardrobe and a bedside table. This room has a pull-out second bed which can be made up on request.

Bathroom: There’s a bath with a shower over it and also a second hand held shower attachment, a w.c., a hand basin and a heated towel rail.

Shower room: With a shower, w.c. and a hand basin.

Outside: There’s a small decked patio at the rear of the property which can be accessed through the ground floor back door. It has a table and chairs and is a pleasant spot to read a book. On-road parking is usually available on Wentworth Road or Market Cross Place.

This first floor self-catering apartment is located very close to Aldeburgh’s sea front. Aldeburgh is a pretty seaside town on the Suffolk Coast and has an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. There are good coastal walks from the town. The apartment is situated above a solicitors office and next to The Mill Inn.

The property is equipped with gas central heating, TV, DVD player, CD and radio player, gas hob and electric oven, a tall fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The apartment has WiFi broadband access.

Restrictions and notes: Sorry, the house is not suitable for babies and young children. No smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
