A delightful period cottage on Aldeburgh High Street, Rosemary Cottage is ideal for couples to enjoy a week away or a relaxing short break close to beach and Aldeburgh’s wonderful boutique shops and renowned restaurants.

The cottage is one of the oldest houses in Aldeburgh, it has a lovely atmosphere with one double bedroom, a kitchen-dining room with a Rayburn range cooker, a living room with open fire and a small wet room. It is largely furnished with reclaimed pine furniture. Outside is a west-facing garden with mature trees and a lawn with a table and chairs, ideal for catching the afternoon and evening sun.

Ground Floor:

A small garden at the front of the house (complete with Rosemary bushes!) leads to the front door which opens into the living room.

Living room: There’s a two seater sofa and two upholstered chairs and a flat screen TV/DVD/CD player.  An open fire and original beams makes the cottage a cosy retreat for winter breaks.

Kitchen/diner: beyond the living room is a lovely cottage kitchen with a Rayburn range cooker, bespoke handmade kitchen units, antique pine table and chairs, a Smeg fridge freezer, integrated slimline dishwasher, Dualit toaster, and a terracotta pammet floor.  A door leads out to the back garden.

Wet room: To the side of the kitchen is a small blue-tiled wet room with a shower, w.c. and sink.

First floor:

Stairs lead from the ground floor between the living room and kitchen-diner to a double bedroom with a Victorian brass bed, natural carpeting and original windows overlooking the High Street.

Outside:

There is a raised garden with a lawn to the rear of the cottage with a table and chairs.  On road parking is usually available in nearby side streets.
