SELF-CATERING ALDEBURGH HOLIDAY COTTAGE ON ALDEBURGH HIGH STREET
Corner Cottage has a fabulous position, as it's name suggests on the corner of Aldeburgh's High Street and Park Road, one of the Town's most sought after streets, meaning access to the beach, shops, restaurants and river walks and marshes are all just a few minutes away. The king-size bedroom has en-suite facilities, the twin room is next to the family bathroom, there is a large kitchen diner and cosy sitting room, making this house ideal for couples and small families demanding the very highest standards – in one of the best locations!
A particular feature of this self-catering Aldeburgh holiday cottage is the south east facing garden, meaning breakfasts taken outside can be in the sunshine, the ground floor of the house has a sitting room with a bay window to the garden and an open fire, there is also a spacious kitchen diner with handmade kitchen units and a range cooker. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, and one with two full size singles which is next to the family bathroom which has an overhead shower. There is also a small yard – unrestricted on-street parking is available nearby.
GROUND FLOOR: From Park Road guests will come into a small entrance hall with the open plan kitchen/diner to the left, the sitting room to the right and stairs to the first floor straight ahead.
SITTING ROOM: The sitting room features an open fire and a lovely bay window, which overlooks the southeast facing front garden and Aldeburgh High Street beyond. There are two, two-seater sofas and an armchair, a flat screen TV with FreeView channels, a DVD player and an iPod docker in the room.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM: To one end of the room is the fully equipped kitchen, featuring a bespoke, hand made kitchen with wood worktops, slim-line dishwasher, dual-fuel range cooker with a four-ring gas hob and electric oven, Belfast sink, a fridge-freezer and a microwave. The other end of the open plan room there is a dining table to seat six.
FIRST FLOOR: From the ground floor entrance hall straight stairs lead to a landing on the first floor. To the right are a few more stairs and another landing to bedroom 1; to the left is another few stairs and another landing leading to bedroom 2 and the family bathroom.
BEDROOM 1: This room has a bay window over looking Aldeburgh High Street, a king-size bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe with drawers, as well as an en-suite shower room.
EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM: In this room is a shower with a chrome rain head, a hand basin and a W.C.
BEDROOM 2: This room has two full size single beds. There is a bedside table, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
BATHROOM: There is a bath with an overhead shower, a hand basin and a W.C.
OUTSIDE: Unrestricted on-road parking is generally available a short distance along Park Road and on other nearby streets. There is a southeast-facing garden to the front of the property, accessed from Park Road, with seating and tables and a small secure courtyard off the kitchen where you can store bicycles.

This self-catering Aldeburgh holiday cottage is located a couple of minutes from the beach and shops on Aldeburgh High Street. Aldeburgh has an excellent range of restaurants, pubs and shops and there are pretty walks around the marsh and to Thorpeness. Fresh fish can be bought from the fish huts along the beach.
