Set far back from the road in a quiet spot, a path leads to the front door opening into a large reception hall with cloakroom off. The living room is exceptionally large with French doors open to the patio; there’s also a retro style dining room adjacent to a well equipped kitchen and separate utility room. Accommodation on the first floor is in three large bedrooms – two with king size beds and one twin; the master bedroom, with en suite shower room, and the twin have far reaching marshland views and there’s a modern family bathroom.

There’s a parking bay in front of the garage for two cars. To the rear is a beautiful mature west facing garden, mainly laid to lawn with mature borders and a fully paved sun terrace – furnished with a table, six chairs and a BBQ – ideal for alfresco dining.

Ground floor

Guests are welcomed into a spacious hallway with stairs to the first floor and doors opening to the cloakroom, dining room and living room.

Living room

A lovely bright dual aspect living room which has been cleverly divided into a ‘drawing’ area and TV area, with flat screen TV with FreeSat and ipod docking station so all the family will be happy! There are two large sofa plus a number of comfy arm chairs, coffee tables, foot stool and bean bags. The living flame gas fire will keep the chill off in the winter months and sliding patio doors open to the patio and huge garden with views of the marshes beyond.

Dining room

Between the hallway and kitchen, this retro dining room has a circular table with six chairs; shelves and cupboards are stacked with games for guests to enjoy.

Kitchen

Opening off the dining room, this modern kitchen with fun tiles is equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven with ceramic hob and extractor fan.

Utility room

Accessed from the kitchen with a door to the path at the side of Stella Maris, this well equipped has a washer/dryer, large fridge with freezer compartment above and a microwave..

Cloakroom

Conveniently next to the front door with plenty of hooks for coats and room for boots and shoes; there’s a WC and washbasin set in a vanity unit.

First Floor

Carpeted stairs lead to the first floor landing with the three bedrooms and family bathroom opening off it. The landing and bedrooms are also carpeted.

Master bedroom

This bright south facing bedroom has views over the garden and marshes beyond where cattle often graze. There’s a lovely wooden king size bed, ample storage in built in wardrobes with shelving and hanging space and bedside cabinets with lamps on.

En suite shower room

This modern en suite has a walk in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

King size bedroom

Large and light, with contemporary king size bed, bedside cabinets and lamp, plus a chaise longue.

Twin bedroom

A good sized and sunny room with velux window; furnished with wooden twin beds, bedside cabinet, chair and towel rail.

Family bathroom

A lovely bright room with P shaped bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Stella Maris stands off Priors Hill Road in a quiet spot next to the tennis courts where non members can play. There’s a parking bay in front of the owner’s garage for two cars with a path leading to the front door. To the rear is a beautiful mature south/west facing garden, mainly laid to lawn (great for ball games, with respect for neighbours!) with mature borders and a fully paved sun terrace – furnished with a table, six chairs and a BBQ – ideal for alfresco dining.

At the bottom of the garden a gate opens onto Jubilee Walk which leads to the sea, playing fields and High Street.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This comfortable semi-detached self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and a living flame gas fire. Appliances include a TV with FreeSat and ipod docking station. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven with ceramic hob and extractor fan; there’s a washer/dryer, microwave, and fridge with freezer compartment in the utility room.

A high chair is available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

This Suffolk holiday home is located on Jubillee Walk (which runs along the bottom of the garden) which leads to the sea, playing fields and the heart of the picturesque town of Aldeburgh with it’s excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes and wide range of independent shops, convenience stores, art galleries and huts along the beach where local fishermen sell their wares. The picture-postcard village of Thorpeness and world renowned Snape Maltings are also great places to visit nearby.

Wonderfully located for tennis enthusiasts too adjacent to the Aldeburgh Tennis Club where non members can enjoy a game or two, the area is also excellent for cycling, sailing or golf and there are many interesting walks, including the Aldeburgh Marshes which are just steps away and boast some of the finest lowland marsh and heathland scenery to be found in the British Isles.
