"We had a lovely stay at Oriel Cottage! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for 30th birthday celebrations. Took a walk up to Thorpeness, a rown on the boats and lunch at th Kitchen, followed by a lovely meal at the Wentworth and fish and chips on the beach the next day! We had a lovely stay in Aldeburgh."

“Great cottage, very comfortable with a lovely welcome gift of fizz and biscuits. Going home feeling very relaxed. Some great restaurants and shops”

“Second visit to Oriel Cottage and a very relaxing week once again. Ate at Regatta restaurant, The Crown Inn at Snape, Prezzo takeaway, fish and chips, Chinese takeaway and shopping bought from Co-op. Regular visits to the market shop a few doors away including the delicious dressed crab! Lots of ice cream too! Walked to Thorpeness - ate at golf club - lovely. We love Aldeburgh and will be back.”

“We were lucky enough to get a cancellation on the carnival weekend. We were delighted with the cottage, it’s location, facilities and the quality of the beds, linen and kitchen items”

"A lovely town to stay in, everything brilliant, walking to Thorpeness and kayaking or crabbing is a great day out."

"had a lovely long weekend here with our son and daughter-in-law. Enjoyed Seaspice for a delicious curry and the Lighthouse. Trip to Southwold and the ferry to Walberswick. Gorgeous shops in Aldeburgh and Southwold and of course Snape Maltings! We love it here! Cottage is in a great location and very well equipped and enjoyed the biscuits and wine and the welcome milk"
