Hallway

May Cottage is a single storey cottage with thresholds between most of the rooms. The front door opens into a small hallway with a door opening directly into the dining room.

Dining Room

Conveniently located between the kitchen and living room, with a feature brick wall, oak floor and ornamental fireplace. Furnished in a contemporary style with circular glass table, four upholstered chairs and a desk.

Kitchen

A small step down through an opening leads to the L shaped kitchen with window overlooking the garden and a hatch to the living room making it ideal for socialising with friends and family. The kitchen is furnished with an electric oven, induction hob and extractor fan, slimline dishwasher, Dualit kettle and toaster plus a Nespresso machine.

Living room

Leading off the dining room with step down into this fully tiled shower room with corner cubicle, wash basin set into a vanity unit, mirror with demister and WC.

Guest Bedroom

Good sized east facing carpeted room with super king zip and link beds giving you the option of a twin or king configuration. There are bedside tables with lamps plus reading lights, two wicker chairs, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe with shelf. Photos of this bedroom will be added at the end of January.

Master Bedroom
This large bedroom also overlooks the church to the east and is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

En Suite Bathroom
A lovely new bathroom with large walk in shower in addition to the bath, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and window giving natural light.

Outside

There is a parking bay on the roadside with path leading to the front door.

A sunny garden at the back of May Cottage, with door opening from the living room, has a patio with table and four chairs and BBQ with flower border and fence dividing the property from neighbours.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This semi-detached self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with gas central heating and appliances include a TV with Freesat and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven and induction hob, washing machine, slim line dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine so you may want to bring extra capsules.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

A new village shop has opened in Rendham and is open Monday – Saturday 8am – 4pm.

This self-catering Suffolk country holiday accommodation is within easy reach of the Suffolk Coast as well as being an ideal location from which to explore east Suffolk's villages and market towns.

May Cottage is located on the Suffolk tourist route, around five miles from Framlingham, an historic market town with picturesque central square providing an excellent range of local facilities, numerous shops, restaurants, pubs and markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Sitting between the Alde and Deben Valleys, Rendham is also surrounded by some of the most picturesque countryside in East Suffolk through which there are numerous foot and bridle paths. The Suffolk Heritage Coast with the popular seaside towns of Aldeburgh lies just 11 miles to the east and Minsmere, the RSPB’s renowned nature reserve, is just 13 miles away.

A well-behaved dog is welcome, if you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

Children are welcome and a high chair and travel cot are available on request at the time of booking. Sorry, no smoking or unaccompanied teenagers.
