This is a spacious Victorian self catering Aldeburgh holiday cottage with a light and airy interior, mixing original features with up to date twists. It is ideal for family holidays or groups of friends enjoying a trip to the seaside!

This self catering Aldeburgh holiday cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 en suite shower room and 1 bathroom. There are two double bedrooms and a large third bedroom with two sets of bunk beds which are ideal for children. Downstairs there’s an open plan kitchen/dining room and a large living room with an open fire. A stable door leads out to a large back garden. This property is pet friendly but please see note below.

Ground Floor:

The front door leads into a hallway with doors to the living room, kitchen/dining room and stairs to the second floor.

Living room: A large living room with an open fire. It has two sofas, a matching armchair and a wide window seat beneath the bay sash window. The room is tastefully furnished with original floor boards and rugs, shelves full of books and modern artwork on the walls. There’s a TV, a FreeView digital box, a DVD/CD player and a selection of games.

Kitchen/Dining Room: The generously sized dining area has a big pine table and seating for eight. Tiled throughout, the dining area leads to the open plan kitchen which has a Smeg range cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and a washing machine. There is also a separate drinks fridge in the kitchen and a high chair for children, a stable door leads out to the large back garden.

Cloakroom: Back in the hallway, there’s a cloakroom with a w.c. and a wash basin.

1st Floor:

Bedroom 1 and en suite: A double bedroom with a wooden painted bed, 2 chests of drawers, varnished floorboards and a rug. Hanging space for clothes is provided in a large cupboard on the landing. There’s an en suite shower room with a shower, w.c. and wash basin with a heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2: A double bedroom with a wooden bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables, an original fireplace (not in use) and a large sash window. There is ample space for hanging clothes in a large cupboard on the landing.

Bedroom 3: A children’s room with two sets of child-size bunk beds (sleeps four), and games including table football and a mini snooker table. There’s a wardrobe, bedside tables, carpet and original fireplace (not in use).

Bathroom: This room has a bath with a shower over, a hand basin, w.c. and a chrome heated towel rail.

Outside: There is a generous-sized lawned garden, patio and garden furniture. The garden is fully enclosed, with a mid-height metal gate with catch (but no lock). There is a very small gap underneath the date, which owners of very small dogs might want to be aware of. On-road parking can usually be found on Park Lane at the front of the house.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This self catering Aldeburgh holiday cottage is equipped with gas central heating, an open fire, Smeg range cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, 40 inch flat screen TV, FreeView box, DVD/CD player, iPod docking station, garden furniture, and a BBQ. A travel cot is available on request.

This property welcomes a well behaved dog on a discretionary basis, please let us know at the time of booking if you plan on bringing a pet with you.

27 Park Lane is located at the top of the Town Steps and it just a short walk down the steps to Aldeburgh’s High Street. It is close to the town’s popular shops, restaurants, art galleries and beach.
