    “Beautiful house, wonderful position with easy access to the beach and village.”

    Perfect for our family celebration. The large space allowed us all to “do our own thing” yet be together. Very comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms accommodated our 3 generations superbly.

Wonderfully planned to ensure guests benefit from the sea views, the incredibly spacious open plan kitchen/living/dining room on the first floor has sea views and both north and south-facing balconies. Guests are welcomed into a hall on the ground floor with a corridor leading to four large bedrooms, two with large en suite bathrooms and, at the far end, a super playroom opening onto a courtyard; a wet room and utility room. Fisherman's Loft, a detached seaside holiday house just a few steps from Thorpeness beach and a short walk from the popular Meare, tearooms, pub, and restaurant, has been superbly renovated to offer guests all modern comforts in a great location. This spacious self-catering holiday house has off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with five bar gate. Ground Floor The front door opens off the driveway into a corridor leading to the four bedrooms which are all carpeted; wet room, utility room and playroom with access to the patio and path to the sea. Bedroom One A sunny south-facing bedroom with twin beds and a cabinet with a lamp in between, plus a chest of drawers and wardrobe. Bedroom Two An exceptionally large south-facing room with super king bed, bedside cabinets, a dressing table with chair and an additional bucket chair, plus a wardrobe. En-Suite Bathroom This super modern bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail. Bedroom Three With a zip and link super king bed allowing a choice of super king or twin occupancy. There are bedside drawers, plus a chest of drawers and wardrobe, Bedroom Four Furnished with a king-size bed, the room's furnished with bedside cabinets, a dressing table with chair, bucket chairs and large wardrobe with drawers too.. En-Suite Bathroom A luxurious modern bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, WC, basin, and heated towel rail. Family Wet Room Close to the back door so ideal for a quick shower after a morning swim, the wet room has a double shower, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail. There's a drinks fridge in the games room and kettles to save going upstairs for teas and coffees. A door leads to the patio, giving easy access to the beach. First Floor Carpeted stairs rise from the hallway to a small landing with a glass door opening into the wonderful open plan living area and a second door opening into the cloakroom. Cloakroom With WC and washbasin. Living/Kitchen/Dining Room A huge room which has been cleverly divided to make the most of the time spent with family and friends. There are two carpeted sitting areas; one with three sofas and coffee tables around the feature wood burner; the other with a sofa and a couple of chairs, plus a large wall-mounted TV with FreeSat channels and an iPod docking station. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with a couple of bar stools, plus a central island housing; equipment includes an electric oven, gas hob with five rings, dishwasher, and freestanding microwave. The dining area has folding doors opening to both balconies and has an elegant glass table with eight upholstered chairs. Outside Fisherman's Loft is located in the dunes between the Aldeburgh Road and the sea. An unmarked road leads to the property which is fenced and has parking for two cars through the five bar gate. A rustic garden surrounds the house; there's a courtyard giving access to the playroom. However the best places for enjoying the sea are the two balconies on the first floor off the kitchen area, allowing guests to enjoy the sun as it moves around. The northeast facing balcony is furnished with a table and eight chairs.
