The property is entered through the hallway, which is shared with the ground floor apartment below, and up a flight of carpeted stairs. The stylish kitchen, living room, study and bathroom can be accessed on this first floor, whilst the king size bedroom and twin bedroom are on the next floor above. Outside there's an enclosed shared courtyard with table and chairs at the back of the apartment and on-road unrestricted parking at the front.

Ground Floor: The property is entered in through a hallway which is shared with the ground floor apartment, and up a flight of stairs.

Living Room: The relaxing living room features a generous and comfortable two seater sofa, and two armchairs, a Panasonic flat screen TV, Sony DVD player, an iPod docking station with MP3 capabilities, radio, USB and CD player and an electric "wood burner style" fire with coastal artwork throughout.

Kitchen/Dining area: The well-appointed open plan kitchen features a Dualit kettle, a Dualit toaster, a Liebherr fridge/freezer, electric range-style cooker with ceramic hob and separate oven & grill, dishwasher, washer dryer and a microwave. The open plan dining area has a glass topped round table with wooden seating for four.

Study: The bright study is great for reading in or for even getting some work done should you need to! Featuring a comfortable chair and black wooden table.

Bathroom: The bathroom features a bath with a shower and handbasin. A W.C. is featured in a separate room next to the bathroom.

Second Floor: A flight of narrow carpeted stairs takes you up to the second floor.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, with a wardrobe and set of drawers for storage.

Bedroom 2: The twin bedroom features two single beds and a compact wardrobe/chest of drawers for storage, with additional storage provided in the eaves cupboard with a clothes rail.

Outside: In front of the property is on-road unrestricted parking and guests can enjoy the sea air in the courtyard at the back which is accessed via the property's rear door in the lobby and down the external staircase, shared with the ground floor flat, where there's a wooden table and chairs. There are also two directors chairs stored in the lobby for your use outside.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and nibbles to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

Driftwood is equipped with gas central heating. Appliances include a a flat screen TV with FreeView channels, WIFI, a DVD player, and an iPod dock. In the kitchen there are integrated appliances including an electric range-style cooker with ceramic hob and separate oven & grill, a dishwasher, a microwave, a washer dryer and a fridge/freezer.

This self catering maisonette in Southwold is located in a terrace of houses, a short walk from the town's popular shops, cafes and delis.

The sandy beach at Southwold is adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to Southwold Pier at one end and towards Southwold Harbour at the other end the town boasts several excellent pubs and restaurants as well as a range of independent shops and galleries.

There is a pretty walk through the harbour and over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fish huts along the harbour. Southwold is home to the Adnams Brewery and the town's excellent pubs include one of our personal favourites, The Lord Nelson where you can try a range of Adnams bitters.

Please note that the vaulted ceiling can be low in places. The ground floor entrance is shared with the downstairs apartment and the enclosed patio garden is also shared and furnished with a table and chairs with two additional directors chairs if you have visitors!
