About the property
The Pink Cottage is an elegant Georgian townhouse, occupying a prominent position on Aldeburgh's High St. The house is set out on 3 floors , ideal for families with up to four children or two couples with children. The whole house has a light and airy feel with well proportioned rooms, high ceilings and large windows, and has contemporary fixtures and fittings.
Pink Cottage is a short walk from the town's renowned shops, restaurants and bars as well as the historic Moot Hall , boating pond and the beach.
There is a pretty walled garden, ideal for children to play in or for adults to enjoy a barbeque or evening drink.
Ground Floor:
Inside, the side entrance door leads into a hallway, leading to the living room, bedroom 3 and the recently fitted family bathroom. The living room is well appointed with leather sofas, large windows overlooking the High Street , a flat-screen TV along with sky, DVD player and iPod base station.
Bedroom 3 has a set of modern bunk beds, with a chest of drawers, mirror and shelves.
The family bathroom has a shower cubicle, separate bath, w.c. and hand basin on white washed floor boards.
A straight staircase leads to the first floor, where you’ll find bedrooms 1 and 2.
1st Floor:
Bedroom 1 is a spacious room with a king sized bed, arm chair and oak furniture which includes a chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. There’s a large walk-in wardrobe and sash windows overlooking the high street.
Bedroom 2 is a bright room with two pine single beds, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, with windows looking over the garden to the rear of the property.
Lower ground floor:
Returning to the ground floor hallway, a flight of slightly narrower stairs lead down to the lower ground floor, where you’ll find the kitchen, dining room, and an additional cloak room, with basin and w.c. A door leads from the kitchen to a small patio area with access to the High Street.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. It has direct access to the spacious dining room, with a large oak table seating 6 people and lit by a large window to the front of the property. To the side of the table, a pair of wicker chairs create an ideal spot for reading or relaxing with a cup of tea.
Outside:
There’s an enclosed garden and patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ. On-road parking can usually be found on nearby side streets.
About the area
The Pink Cottage is located in the heart of Aldeburgh, on the corner of the High Street and Victoria Road, at the north end of the High Street. The restaurants, pubs and shops are a couple of minutes walk away, as it the beach.
What’s included?
All prices include bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The cottage is equipped with gas central heating, flat-screen TV, DVD/CD player, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer, and a BBQ.
Travel cot and high chair available on request.
Restrictions: Sorry, no pets, smokers or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at this property.
Tariff
£510 to £1050 a week depending on the time of year. Shorter breaks are available when there is late availability - please check the online calendar for details. A damage deposit of £100 will be requested when your balance is due for payment.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
